"We're here." Aiden said, popping the kickstand down. He got off and looked around. We were in a wide alleyway with little lighting. I started to think it was too quiet, but Aiden reassured me. "We are early. People usually come out around 9:00."
"Oh." I nodded in understanding. "So what are we going to do for two hours?"
Aiden said nothing as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the city's center. It was so bright that it almost seemed like the sun was still out. Since it was fall with the daylight savings the sun set earlier.
As the two of us are and then walked as we asked questions about each other for the remaining hour. He is a Scorpio while I'm a Capricorn. His favorite animal is a wolf while mine is a black leopard.
"Favorite hobby," Aiden asked. "You know, besides riding."
I laughed and went into thought. "Hmm. I would say painting."
Aiden looked at me with a surprised look. "Really?" He looked back ahead. "I never would have guessed."
"Well, what about you; Any hobbies I wouldn't think you would do?" I asked.
"Probably."
It went silent as I waited for him to tell me. "Well?"
"I didn't say I was gonna tell you. You'll have to figure that out on your own." He winked. "Favorite food?"
"Woah, woah, woah!" I pushed my body into his. "You can't ask two questions in a row without answering one.
"My favorite food is home cooked beef soup."
I sighed, but smiled not long after. He's hiding something cute about his hobby. "Mine is rice with brown sugar."
"Plain and boring, but still pretty good." Aiden teased slightly.
"Hey~"
"What was the first thing you noticed about me when we met?"
"Yesterday? Wow, that's clear in my mind." I looked up to the sky as I replied. "It was your hair."
"wow, romantic." Aiden said plainly, but sarcastically. "I was expecting something more of the lines 'You were there, sun shining perfectly, making you shine like an angel fallen from heaven.'"
"Yeah~ Well what about me?" I asked with a playful look.
"Your eyes; a beautiful brown, but almost golden in the sun. Something anyone could easily fall for." He exhaled heavily through his nose as he looked down at me, slowing his pace. Our gazes met, but we didn't do a thing. We didn't kiss, and we didn't move any closer; just stared into each other's souls, as if to find out everything in just one look.
Eventually we snapped out of the sudden trance and looked away from each other awkwardly. Aiden rubbed his free hand behind his neck as I cleared my throat. For a first date this was going fast considering we just met yesterday.
"Sorry~" Aiden said in discomfort. "That was throwing things a little bit out of the park."
"No no. It was really sweet." I blushed as butterflies formed in my stomach.
"We should walk back. People will be getting there soon." He grabbed my hand and led me back to the ally where he had parked.
"Hey, Aiden!" A tall, blonde haired boy around seventeen years of age came running up to us. "I've tried texting you for the last hour. I saw your bike, but you were nowhere in sight. I started to get worried." The guy laughed for a few seconds before noticing me. He got a little to close to me as he spoke again. "Dude, who's the chick." Jeez, does this dude know about personal space?
