"This detention was bloody awful I can't wait to be done." George groaned as he and Claire walked out of the classroom and back to their common rooms.

Claire stayed silent. She just wanted to tell him.

"Hey why so quiet? You alright love?" George nudged Claire making her wobble.

Claire nodded "yeah it's just that I won."
George looked at her funnily.
"What do you mean? What did you win?
He asks as he goes to grab her hand.
"I won the deal." She looks up at him, a smile playing on her lips.

"What dea- no way!" George took back his hand just as Claire was going grab it back.
"No way show me!" He asked a grin plastered on his face.

Claire laughed at his childish ways but actually felt like crying. He wanted to hold her hand and she wanted to hold his.
She ruined it.

Drawing her hand back she smiles.
"So about the deal?" Claire trails off.

"Well you won fair and square and that love is a deal I will hold up to. I won't prank you again." George said with a hint of sadness like that all the playfulness between them has disappeared forever.

"O-okay." Claire fake smiles holding back a sob. They both stood their awkwardly and misplaced.
"I'll see you around I guess, but I still have to see the painting so yeah uh night." George walks away with a slight wave leaving Claire standing in the bare lit corridor alone.
