I don't belive in fairy tales

CHAPTER 2

  Alexia had left the school grounds after explaining why she was leaving then walked to one of her favorite places, the book store, this book store had a loft for where you could just read of think basically get away from the world and that's what she needed right now so she waved at the cashier and went up to the loft as she pulled out her iPod and lost herself in her music, With her ear buds in she didn't hear the familiar chime of the door opening, Alexia had closed her eyes oblivious to the outside world.
that was of course until she felt someone grab her out of the loft. She opened her eyes to see a man with a gun that was now pointed at her head as he was threatening the cashier in French "Main sur l'argent ou je tire sur sa!"* which it became obvious that the cashier didn't speak French.
"aller de l'avant me sortir de cette vie. s'il vous plaît faire."** Alexia looked up at the man and spoke in perfect French she was then told to translate what the man said to the cashier and with a sigh she did. The cashier who mind you is probably a freshman in college does as the man wants frantically. The man left and both of them sunk to the ground
"oh hey I know you." Said the young cashier
"Oh wait John?" Alexia asked
"Yeah, long time no see kid" john said, john used to be a TA for Alexia's LA class. "So how have you been?" He asked which caused Alexia to begin telling the story of her life. Alexia thought for a moment aftershave finished explaining, she had her head on his shoulder
"Hey shouldn't we call the police?" She asked
"Oh yeah I forgot about that" john chuckled and grabs the phone and called the police explaining it all.

Jax had decided he didn't wanna stay at school so he didn't but when he saw a group of police cars and camera crew at the bookstore he had to stop by and check it out, even more so when he saw Alexia talking to some officers. He tried to go in but they stopped him. He was worried about what happened especially because it involved Alexia and no matter what any one thought, he cared about her more then she knew.

Inside Alexia explained what happened minus the part where she told him to shoot her. Her and john were then interviewed about the assault and asked if they were dating which they both said no they weren't dating
"although I wouldn't mind dating her" john half joked and rested his arm on her shoulder causing her to roll her eyes at him.
"yeah right, there's much better girls in college for you." Alexia replied
"There's no one better shorty." Jax said once he was let through, and almost if on cue cameras flashed and pointed at him
"so Alexia is THIS your boyfriend?" A reporter asked causing Alexia to scowl and glare over at Jax
"Certainly not" she said in a mean tone "he's the brother of my ex-boyfriend and the rest of his family have ruined my life, never shall I make that mistake again." She explained
"so because of my family you'd never consider dating me? Wouldn't that be like judging a book by its cover? Or a series by the author?" He asked. Alexia scoffed
"No it's like judging a drug by the druggie who takes it"
"Ouch harsh" Jax replied putting a hand over where his heart is

*: "Hand over the money or I'll shoot her!"
**: "go ahead take me out of this life. please do."
