They hugged goodbye

But continued talking

Old love catching fire again

It was as if time stood still

Neither one of them wanting to leave

I watched from a distance

The way she looked at him

and they way he looked at her

Then they said their final goodbye

I watched her leave

and him go the other way

But then I saw her

turn around to look back at him

But he didn't look back

She left a piece of her heart in that goodbye

and he took it with him
