Do you know that moment when you are laughing with someone and just truly being yourself. And you realise that you just really appreciate this person for who they really are. In my opinion that is the best feeling.
If you have not guessed it yet (can't blame you if haven't) this is the wonderful story of how I met my best friend. It started off like this...
So in kindy I was a cheeky, naughty little kid. I would get in to or sorts of trouble. Alot of the time it would be me yelling at kids to eat sand making them cry in shock, throwing lego at kids, ripping off the heads of barbie dolls that little girls brought in for show and tell.Basically I was a little terror and I was proud of it.
Of course if you saw me at first you may of thought I was every parents angel daughter, trust me i looked it to, alot of parents thought so. I had crazy, curly red hair always pulled back into pigtails(it was my preferred hairstyle) big bright green eyes, little dimples in my cheeks and freckles across my nose. Kids Parents at kindgarden would always look so fondly at me until... they looked away heard there kid scream and realised I had there arm in my mouth. Then you would hear the roar of Miss Joe my least favourite kindy teacher she was mean and scary and I absolutely hated her. All the time she would be screaming out "Arabella dont do that", "Arabella dont do this" and so on so forth.
Alot of the time at lunch I would have to sit all by myself, which I hated, But of course all the other kids loved it and Miss Joe. It meant that little Arabella won't through food at kids or eat other kids food. Wich really bothered me as some kids lunch boxes where really good.
My favourite part about kindgarten was home time. My dad would pick me up and always greet me with "How is my favorite little terror" I would then kiss him the nose and say "positively well". Then Miss Joe would come over and tell my dad how much of trouble I have been. Dad would usaully just chuckle, look at me and say "Miss Arabella we will have a stern talk when we get home", but the truth is we never did. After he would pick me up from kindy we would go down to the bakery and have a treat I would always get the gingerbread man cookies as I always loved pulling there eyes off, Dad would get the pie and we would talk about dads adventures at work. Even though he was just a builder he always made them sound interesting.
When we got home my mum would usually be slaving over a hot stove cooking dinner her curly hair pulled back in a bun and flyaway curls getting in her way. She would have her apron on and her work clothes underneath which were her gardening clothes as she was a landscaper.
I would run up to her and she would lift me up and give me a huge squeeze. She would ask me how my day went and I would always say "amazing" she then replied with"is that so" before looking at dad who told her what trouble I had caused today and we would all laugh over it.
Even though I may have been a terror at kindgarten I was a perfect angel at home. And an extreamly bright student.
