Chapter 8

*alarm clock rang*

I woke up and fixed my bed. I looked at the window and it was dark. I felt the temperature in my room. It was cold that morning. I touched my neck and forehead and it was hotter than warm. I took a sight at my wall clock and it was 5:30.

I felt so dizzy. I also had a headache.

I slept for a little while and looked at my clock. It was already 6:00.

"Uhh It's so coollldd" I exclaimed

I went downstairs to see mom. She is watching television.

"Eomma where's the thermometer? I'm not feeling well" I asked

"My poor dear.. I'm going to get it for you. Just sit at the couch for a moment" mom said

*a few seconds after*

"Here, let me check your temperature" mom said
"Thanks mom" I said with my weak voice"

A few second past and mom looked at my temperature

"Oh gosh you can't go to school today" mom said with her face frowned
"You have a high temperature. 38.6°c" mom added

"Then I'll just go back to my room and rest." I said weakly

I went upstairs, grabbed my phone, and laid down. Time check: 6:16

"Should I text V? Or Kookie? Or both?" I whispered to myself

"I'll go text Joy" I added

Me: Hi Joy! Where are you?
(sent, seen)

Joy: I am at the school
(Sent,seen)

Joy: With V and Kookie
(Not Sent)

Me: I cant go to school today. Im not feeling well.
(Sent,seen)

Joy: Uhh so sad. Be safe. Drink your medicine/s okay? And drink a lot of water.
(Sent,seen)

Me: Thanks for all the reminders. Same to you. Ill be safe.
(Sent,seen)

Me: Also please inform V and Kookie. And please tell them to be safe.
(Not sent)

Joy: Okay BYE!
(Sent,seen)

I slept for a while. A few minutes later, I texted Jungkook.

Me: Kookie... I can't come to school today

A few seconds later, I received a text from V

V: Where are you? Should I fetch you at your house?

Me: No, thanks. I cant go to school today. I'm sick and I need a lot of rest.
(Sent,seen)

V: Aww too bad. Rest a lot so you can go to school tomorrow okay?
(Sent,seen)

Me: Okay. Thanks for all the reminders
(Sent,seen)

V: I Love You
(Sent,seen)

V: As a friend
(Not Sent)

Me: ???
(Sent,seen)

Me: I love you too
(Not Sent)

((V CALLING))

V: Hey ILY as a f-friend. You know b-because Im j-j-just concerned about y-you
V: k-K. BYE
((CALL ENDED))

"Just a friend? I thought he likes me too.. :-( . " I muttered

I slept a few more hours.

Mom woke me at around 12 pm to eat lunch but I dont feel like eating.

I woke up at about 4:30 and I scrolled down through my phone to see new posts then I saw Joy's new Post (a picture of V, Jungkook and Joy at a Cafe with the caption: "atm with my boy besties")

I felt jealous and sad. My body got weaker and hotter.

"Joy texted me which means she is concerned. V texted me which means he is concerned but Jungkook didnt text nor replied and Im sure he saw it. Does it mean he does not care about me but only cares about Joy??" I felt the heat of my body

"What's with Joy that I don't have??" I muttered silently with my eyebrows furrowed

"Then fine. I have my V by my side anyways" I said

I texted joy

Me: GO TAKE EVERYTHING BUT NEVER TAKE WHAT IS MINE AND IS NOT YOURS!

Joy: HUH?? What's the matter with you? Youre just sick. I understand. Take care of yourself. I know you can handle it or do you need my help? I could go to your house now.
(Sent,seen)

Me: Stop pretending that you are kind and innocent. Show who you are or else you will be hurt and you will carry the pain for a lifetime. Just saying
(Sent,seen)

Joy: Kim Seolhyun Is this really you?? I dont think so. Whoever you are please give her phone back to her.
(Sent,seen)

Me: Just stop pretending PLEASE

I just ran out of ideas and forgot the next scene that should be in this chapter.
