oh shit. oh shit. I tried my best to keep Victoria away from Vanessa but she couldn't keep up.I heard a loud growl coming from behind us and I knew she caught up. " look  vee it's not what it look like." I said trying to protect Victoria from Vanessa. " What the hell is going on" Victoria said scared out of her mind. Vanessa growl and charged after her, but a grey wolf jumped in front of her.she growled and stared at me for a while.I felt completely guilty.my beauty mate is upset and it's because of me.

she shifted and was naked. the wolf grabbed what looked like a jacket and wrapped it around my mate. she petted the wolf and walked away with out giving me a second glance.

Vanessa pov

fuck having a mate, all I need is my best friend.but he did stop me from killing that slut. I got in the car and I saw Sam's clothes on the driver's seat.I decided to take his boxers and put them on. I looked outside to see sam caring that girl walking this way.I hurried and locked the door.he looked at me and gave me the 'come on please let me in' look.I looked at him then at the girl.I gave in and he open the door with one hand.he placed her in the back. " she fainted from shock."  he said to me while I stared at her. " typical human." I said turning my head because I could feel my wolf trying to take over. " Vanessa." he said trying to keep his eyes on the road. " I'll just reject him." I said more to myself instead to him. he was shocked. " but you can't he is an alpha, he needs you." " well I don't need him."  .'you say that now' my wolf said. 'shut up he cheated remember' she wimpered in pain and disappeared from my mind.

I looked at sam and did something I would soon regret later.
