After Ashok's death, his wife Gayatri tries to take revenge at the Oberoi's. She starts to blackmail the Oberoi brothers. She shoots Rudra, which shakes away Shivaay and Om.
After few months,
We see Om been suspected for murdering Gayatri by an ACP. This leads Om into depression. And he starts taking on drugs which spoils his health and causes a worry for the Oberoi who think he has taken drugs due to breakup with ridhima. But that's not the truth. The truth is else what? Om and Priyanka try their best to hide the truth from the family.
Meanwhile, Anika starts to investigate on Tia's mysterious behaviour and tries her best to tell Tia's truth to Shivaay. But Tia changes to good side infront of Shivaay and tries to win his heart. Shivaay unfortunately fell for Anika and doesn't realise that he's in love with Anika.
Rudra and soumya try to escape from rudra's ex, Romi who's become Romi Devi. And both rudra and soumya end up getting married when they were in no senses that they were marrying each other.
