Chapter 19: Beyond today
“Nicola! Stop being such a boob about it! And tell them” I say to her as me and Kimba sit in front of her at the table in her back garden, Kimba laughs at my choice of words and Nicola narrows her eyes at us
“You just called me a boob?” she says pinching the bridge of her nose between her finger and thumb trying to stop her giggles
“Aye I did, coz your being silly! And plus made ya laugh pet” I say to her with a dimpled grin
“I know and I don’t want to be a “boob” about it but they aren’t listening to me!” Nicola groans
Nicola has just started to design her own clothes range with Top Shop she’s sketched the designs but they said they weren’t feeling it and now she doesn’t know what to do and is stressing
“Pet you just need to explain to them like you did when you were doing Dainty Doll, I know it’s not the same thing but still” I say with a smile
“Hmm…” she mumbles
“OOB!” Wyatt squeals and I raise my eyebrows and look at Kim who has an unimpressed look on her face and I giggle
“I swear I’ll watch what I say from now on baby” I grin and she shakes her head getting up and going over to Isabella and Bobby I look over to Nic to see her laughing
“What?” I ask
“Oh nothing its just you babes” she laughs
“Oh thanks much!” I laugh
We’re in the car going to Sarah’s when I start to get a head ache
“Oh no! please don’t let it be what I think it is! Its been nearly 3 years since I’ve had one” I close my eyes and rub me temples then I feel a hand on my thigh
“You okay baby?” Kimba asks
“Aye just a little head ache” I smile
“You sure?” she asks quickly removing her eyes from the road and on to mine
“Yeah, I’m fine babes” I say and she continues driving
I look out of the window trying to ignore the head ache which is getting worse by the second and it feels like me head is splitting in two, 10 minutes later we pull up outside of Sarah’s I carry Isabella to the door letting her ring the bell, just Sarah opens the door Kim is now standing beside us
“Hey girls, Hello babies!” she smiles hugging me and Kim and then the kids
“Dog!” Wyatt shouts making Sarah laugh
“Learning first aint he? Got the Walsh brain then” Sarah smirks
“He certainly has” Kimberley smiles as we walk into the living room
“Sarah you got any pain killers?” I ask her setting Isabella on her feet
“Yeah babes in the kitchen” she says sitting down next to Kim and talking to Wyatt
“You sure your okay babes, you look a bit pale” Kimberley says taking hold of me hand
“Babes I’m fine just a head ache” I smile at her and enter the kitchen I locate the pain killers and swallow two with a whole glass of water, I take a seat in the kitchen placing my head in me hands,
“Go Away!” I scream in my head but the pounding gets worse I start to feel dizzy at this point I rest my head on the table and close my eyes letting everything fade around us as I move through time once again.
