Prologue
The hero I am going to talk about today is Soul. Soul is something I like to call a Morpheous. A morpheous is a hybrid between a human and a dragon. There are more morpheus's in the world than you think. Many people would think that the morpheous is physical, but it isn't. It is the inner person, or as some people refer to the inner person as an inner animal.
Anyway. Souls' family had a long and seriously complicated relationship with the angels. Soul's mother was an angel. Her name was Eleanor. His father was a very powerful morpheus. His name was Cronos. this guy was not the greek god of time, but of course he was named after him. Souls dad was from an ancient line of Egyptian, Grecian, and Roman blood. The line was called The Blood of the Pharaohs. It is rare to have a morpheus in the blood of pharaohs bloodline. It makes the descendants of that particular descendant much more powerful. The morpeouses and the blood of the pharaohs were wealthy families who could do a many assortment of jobs and do them very efficiently. So Soul's family comes from a long and dangerous past. My experience with Soul have lead me to write this story.
When Soul was an infant his dad did a procedure on him that is very dangerous for a morpheus. It was so dangerous that it was forbidden and the penalty was death. Souls' dad had to do this procedure in a secret bunker that was used during the Nuclear war in 2017. Soul's dad took the blood of a very powerful demon, the blood of a child of night, a child of the moon, and both children of Lilith. In short a demon, a vampire,a werewolf,a wizard, and a fairy. So Soul was not only an angelic morpheus, he was an demonic-angelic morpheus. The only difference is that when he would grow his wings they would be scaly like a dragons and he would be faster, stronger, more vigilant, and he will have had faster reflexes. His dad knew that he had broke the law. But, even he didn't know how strong his new son would be. Many would not know how strong he was until he reached maturity at age eighteen. Morpheus are different than humans. They mature a lot more slowly than humans but they grow faster than the human race. The morpheuses thrive in nuclear radiation. For this reason their powers are enhanced when born. The bloodline discovered this and moved to a radioactive nuclear hotspot. They moved to places that didn't have humans like Chernobyl, Berlin (Germany), Fukushima Daiichi(Japan),and on the side and edges of volcanos. This was a pact of land development made by Andrew Jackson.
The only problem was that the humans were growing and expanding their boundaries. So at first this was a consideration when finding a place to live. As usual the clans leaders viser had he plan to move to within the radioactive boundaries and live in whole abandoned cities that had been contained with like a invisible fence and the people were told that if they crossed a certain point you would be shot and killed. Usually the beings who set this up were Morpheus. The government knew about the clan but put them as a classified subject. So when a human asked about the clan the government acted oblivious to that subject claiming that "We know nothing about the clan" or "The Morpheus are a myth, a legend if you will, made up by modern people because they have too much time on their hands and not much to do. But when wars came the morpheus were recruited instead of the modern people. The morpheus' were better at the hand to hand, melee, and ranged combat. Since the morpheus clan has a high pain tolerance it is not easy for them to be defeated. Well and because the clan has very good memory the government only had to train them once. The government trained them with AIT from every military branch, (Army, Air force, Marines, Navy, and the National Guard), every martial arts types especially advanced aikido , advanced Spartan training, and Greek/Roman training.
