Chapter 5.

Madison's POV

'Meeting Harry Styles' ~

I went over to him pulled a seat and smiled, then our conversation started and it was already 8:15. Wow time goes fast when your talking to someone you enjoy.

As soon as I sat down, he smiled and started talking to me.

"So want anything love?" He offered while calling the waitress.

"I'm good"

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure" I said as I looked up at him.

He ordered and told the waitress what he wanted and told me to get something, which I said no but he still forced me into having something so he got me a French vanilla.

It was an awkward moment of silence until the waitress came and brought out orders. I wondered why they had waitresses at this Starbucks, people usually have to go in line and order what they want.

"So, excited about tomorrow babe?" He said after moments of silence them breaking it.

"Actually I am, but just nervous I guess" I replied laughing after saying I was nervous.

"Don't be love, you'll love my friends"

"Hope so" I said.

"So where you heading off to?" He asked.

"Well work actually. I start at 8:30"

"What do you work as? And my god, it's 8:25 you can go if you want to love don't want to get you fired."

"I work as a makeup artist. It's fine, I'm gonna quit soon just because my boss is crazy and barely gives me anything to do. I'm sick and tired of her and all that. "

"That's wonderful, oh are you planning to find a job?"

"Yeah! I'm pretty good I guess, and yeah just looking for one" I said giving a small laugh.

"Well wish you some luck babe" he said while he was smirking.

"Thanks french fries." I replied l.

"French fries?" He said looking confused.

"I don't know, either that or curly haired boy. It came into my head just by looking at your mop of curls." I said laughing.

"I think I'll stick with any. Oh I see you checkin me and my mop of curls" he said as he was winking at me and smiling at the exact same time.

I started having a lot of fun hanging and talking with Harry. He was even funnier than I thought, but he was a total flirt.

We started talking a bit more about our life and basically other things. We finally both got up and left to see I'm already late. Harry came up to me before he left, kissed my cheek and whispered something in my ear.

"See you tomorrow love, dress sexy" he said whispering in my ear after giving me a kiss. Then he winked and we both walked outside to our car.

After meeting with Harry, I got into my car and left to work. It was now 9:00 and boy am I late. I turned on my car and after seconds, my phone started ringing.

"Ugh, who is it now?" I mumbled and picked up the phone without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?" I said.

"MADISON WADE! This is your 4th time late and I hope you have an excuse of why you are late!!" She said yelling onto the phone making my ears hurt. It was her, my stupid mean boss, who's always yelling at me for no damn reason.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry I lost time of track and my car broke down so I got some help and I'm definitely on my way right now."

"Madison, I'm pretty sure you need another car because with your car breaking down each time, that's the only excuse I get. It is 9:15 now and if you don't get here by 9:25, I will have to let you go!" She yelled again.

"Yes Ma'am, I'll be there in a few. And I won't make that happen again." I replied.

"Good, and see you here!" She said, then hung up.

Ugh, I hate her so much. I just wanna go up to her and tell her I quit right in her face. I'm totally gonna look for a new job tonight, one place that will actually let me do something and actually pay me. My boss Leah makes me clean the floors up usually, or even be her 'assistant' and I'm telling you it sucks!

I applied so I can do makeup on people, not to be someone's slave and do their work. I was basically like her assistant for almost about 2 years now, and I'm probably someone who was with her for a bit longer. Usually people would quit right away because Leah my boss is just way to picky and sassy.

I got told that someone worked as her assistant and quitted within 5 minutes. Their are so many reasons of why I hate Leah. I feel like today should be the day to quit right in her face.

Leah is always picky. Whenever she wants something like coffee, she makes me get it. If it doesn't taste good at all she leaves it on the table and makes me get another cup of coffee until she likes it.

I was still driving and it was now 9:20. Shoot, I only have 5 minutes left. Oh well I would quit anyways, and I don't think she'd even fire me after me being late about 4-6 times. She probably knows I'm one of her best assistants out if the rest she's had.

It kinda sucks not being able to do any makeup on people. At first, I thought that's what my job would be until Leah told me to pass stage 2 which was being her 'assistant' which was probably fake.

I parked my car, entered the building, and quickly ran in the halls to see its already 9:26. I went to the office an pretended I was here before, even though I was one minute late.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" Said Alex which was one of Leah's 'helper'. He always flirts with girls, but mostly me. He asked me out more than 5 times, but my obvious answer was no.

"What do you want Alex?" I said.

"Well, one date with you." He replied.

"Alex no. I've told you 1 million times that its going to be a no!" I whisper yelled getting annoyed by him.

"Well someday you'll come running for me and saying yes" He said while walking away and giving a wink.

"Gross" I mumbled.

After I went to Leah and she started saying a bunch of stuff telling me not to be late again, and how she won't fire me. Part of me wanted to quit and be fired at the same time, and the other part of me wanted to stay here but get away from Leah and Alex. I'd just want to continue my life doing makeup on people just to get better and learn new skills, rather than being asked out by Alex and getting tortured by Leah.

I kept wondering If I should go to her face right now and tell Leah my boss I want to quit, or just wait until I find a new job. All these questions got me thinking so hard, that Leah had to yell my name and nudge me to get her some hot chocolate.

I went to get her hot chocolate and she sent me back twice to make it perfect. She wanted whipped cream, then marshmallows. God was this women killing me!

Should I stay? Should I quit? After Leah torturing me and sending me for another cup of hot chocolate, I went to the kitchen to get her order 'perfect' hot chocolate then to make my decision to stay or leave.
