Someplace hidden from maps and human eyes an island sits. The occupants of that island are the worst creatures that you could ever meet.
"Master, awaken." One creature spoke kneeling at the foot of a golden coffin. The other creature soon followed suit bowing their hands and chanting,
Master, Master
We welcome thee
Come lead us again
To victory! The chant was repeated three times until there was a loud bang and the coffin lid floated up in the air.
The creatures eyes grew wide with anticipation.
A long boney hand gripped the edge of the coffin pulling it's body up. The creature's master sat up for the first time in ten thousand years.
The Master was all bones. Literally. The Master was a skeleton.
A flash of lightning came down and surrounded the Master, covering him in blinding with light.
The creatures covered their eyes and when the peeked through their fingers their master had skin and was fully clothed.
The Master looked around at the cowering creatures before him and smiled to himself. It's good to be back! He thought to himself.
"M-Master why don't you get some sleep so you'll be a full energy when we put our plan in full order." One of the creatures stuttered bowing before his master before running back the way he came, his companions trailing behind him.
The Master nodded. Sleep sounded like an excellent idea.
As the Master started to fall into a deep sleep dreams started spiraling around in his head. It was the Master's ability to control his dreams and his dreams showed him whatever he needed or wanted to see.
The Master picked one with a twenty year old girl. "Ah, young Hanna, we meet again." He said to himself as he prepared himself for the dream.
-------
Hanna was walking along the sidewalk on her way to work."Hey Hanna!" Her best friend Tate exclaimed as she gave Hanna a hug from behind.
Hanna laughed. "Hey Tate." She wriggled her way out of Tate's grip and sighed. "Do you have any luck on the rhseoln experiment?" She asked her friend.
Tate nodded sadly. "Not even close." She said. "I'm sorry Hanna but I don't think any antidote will stop the virus. We need a miracle."
Hanna sighed again. "There is no such thing as miracles." She stated leaving Tate standing alone on the sidewalk.
Hanna got to the laboratory a slid her lab coat over her purple blouse.
"Morning Dr. Gerd!" A lady heading towards the antidote lab exclaimed. Hanna looked her over.
She must be new. Hanna has never seen her before. However before she could question anything the antidote lab came into view and the woman stepped inside it giving Hanna a quick wink before pulling the door shut.
That was weird....
-------
The Master smiled to himself in his sleep. She thought she could get away with this....///////////////
