Abigail's Secret
Abigail's POV
My eyes fluttered open, I could see the white sheer curtains flowing with the wind slowly through my window.
I smiled, knowing that today was another new day & I was willing to control my emotions & such, including my secret.
My secret was & is hard to hide. When I get upset or let my emotions get the best of me, my secret comes out, it's difficult to hide, cause we all got through emotions every single day of our lives
The only people that know bout my secret are my brother Leati, my father Sika & cousins Dwayne, Jey & Jimmy. My family is all I have really. The only ones I can trust.
The ones who know what I'm capable of doing. Espically Leati....
Leati has seen me at my worse, my breaking point, to where I'm hyperventilating & crying.
Be4 I went downstairs for breakfast, I decided to get ready, shower & such. I turned the water for the shower on, undressed & climbed in. Turning around so the hot water was running down my back.
I liked hot shower. After I washed up, shutting the water off. I wrapped a towel around my body, & blow dried my hair, once done, I brushed it putting it up in a messy bun. I put on my jean short shorts & a black tank top.
I grabbed my toothbrush from the glass cup & brushed my teeth.
When I looked up at the mirror, I saw my eyes were red, I dropped my toothbrush & squeezed my eyes shut tight, when I opened them I saw a black figure being me with red eyes & then two big dark red hands come from behind my head & start wrapping around my head.
I let out a scream turning around fast, there was another one. I reached behind me & found the glass cup, throwing it at the two demons in front of me. They disappeared once I threw the glass at them. I moved beside the sink.
My back hit the wall, as I slide down the wall, my hands covering my mouth, tears started to fill my eyes.
° No this can't be happening. Not again. Fuck what am I gonna do °
° You aren't gonna do anything Abigail. Your worthless, just a nobody w a head full of problems, it would be better if you just joined us, became one of us. °
The voices in my head kept going. I heard knocking coming from the bathroom door & someone calling for me. I closed my eyes & tried to get back & stay focused. I felt two hands grab my face & lightly shake my head,when I opened my eyes. There was my brother...Leati.
"Abigail!....Abby, look at me!, focus on me sis!"
"Leati....I....I saw them. I saw two of them this time. One was trying to wrap his hands around my head." I said as Leati picked me up & put me in his lap, hugging me tight & saying a prayer in Samoan...
"Your gonna be okay Abby, I promise, I will help you get through this. I'm not leaving your side through this. I'm gonna keep a close eye on you & you need to tell me when you see or feel the episodes starting okay?." He whispered as he kissed my head & pulled me closer to him
"I will Leati" I whispered back as I hugged him, & slowly started to calm down.
What would I do if I didn't have my older brother Leati with me, it's like he helps put my mind at ease.
