Note: Hey loves! So this isn't a werewolf story lol sorry they're just wolves. I hope maybe I'll actually be able to finish this book unlike my last two:/ Well I hope you like it!

-Marks POV-

I sat quietly behind my mom. Her grey coat stuck to her skin as she stood before the alpha in the rain. They growled at each other, threatening to attack. My dad picked me up and ran. I fought and tried to get back to my mom but he held on tight. I whimpered when she howled in pain.

"Take me back!" I whined.

"Nw cabt."

"What?"

He growled and shoved me into our den.

"Stay here. Don't you DARE come out. I have to go help your mom."

And with that he ran off. I scooted as far away from the howls as I could and covered my face with my paws. The rain poured down harder, muffling the howls. I sat up all night staring at the entrance. No one ever came back for me.

-4 Years later-

I crawled lazily out of the den. My mate, Alison whined. I just rolled my eyes and walked over to the river. My bright blue eyes stared at my reflection. Dark grey fur, a scar down my side and half an ear.

"Dad!" my son called running out of the den.

"What, Ryan?"

"Your still taking me hunting today right?"

I smiled down at him. He was a perfect replica of my mate. Bright brown eyes, fluffy black fur and very talkative. Not that that's a look.

"Yes."

"Yes! I'm so happpyyyy!" he cried running around in circles," Hunting! I'm gonna go hunting! Hunting! Mommmyyyyyy! I'm going hunting!!! With dad! Not alone!"

Alison crawled out of the den and sat beside me, nuzzling my neck.

"Good. It's about time you learned. But if you keep yelling like that your going to scare everything off."

He became quiet but still ran around in circles. I chuckled.

"He reminds me of you." Alison said," when you first joined our pack. Crazy, but willing to listen. Why I remember when you almost ruined our first den-"

She rambled on most of the day about how crazy I used to be. I sat patiently and listened. I didn't mind her talking. It kept my mind off things. My old pack had been searching for me. We were going to have to move again soon. I could feel them closing in. It was only a matter of time. I sighed deeply without thinking.

"What is it?"

"Hmm?"

"You sighed. Oh no. What's wrong? Mark please don't tell me we're leaving again! Ryan can't take it!-"

"We're going hunting now." I said cutting her off. Ryan came flying out of the den and sat by my side.

"Really? I can't wait! Do you think I'll catch anything! I would love to catch a deer!"

"Your not going to catch anything if you keep talking. Now come on."

I stood up and walked into the woods, with Ryan close behind. He kept his mouth shut but I could feel the excitement. It seemed to hover around him. I smiled down at him before looking across the meadow. A young deer stood there, just far enough away from it's mom.

"Look." I said to Ryan." A little deer. Perfect for you. Remember what I taught you?"

He nodded eagerly and bent down low so he was hidden by the grass. He began slowly inching forward. I gave him a small nudge to let him now he didn't have to go quite that slow. His small paws moved perfectly threw the grass, scarcely making a sound. I couldn't help but be proud. He looked like he had been doing this for years.

His was almost at the deer when a familiar smell reached my nose. I stood up slowly and looked around. My claws dug into the ground as I stared at the grass around Ryan. Please no, please no, please no, I said to myself. The grass not to far to his left moved. I took off towards my son.

"RYAN! RUN RYAN! NOW!"

Yet another note: So yeah. It's kinda short, but I hope you liked it! Loves and kisses! Haha omg I'm so weird....
