•Laurens POV•
He had been coming the past week and I could tell he liked me. When our eyes met it was magical. The way he looked at me melted my soul. Woah. Thats deep Lauren. He always got his grande mocha cappuccino. Sometimes he'd get another coffee for a friend I guess but when he did he wouldn't have time to sit down and drink his. That made me sad but I cant control his personal life. As long as he waved and smiled before he left, that was one of the highlights of my day.
I didn't even have to tell him the price, he just knew. Just like when I see him I send a cup off when he walks up to my counter to save him some time.
I'd also been thinking about him like crazy. This one boy who I serve just because I have to has got me head over heels for him already.
When he's ordering or waiting for his coffee we get a little time to chat but not much
"Hello." he said walking up to me and handing me his card.
"Hi." I say swiping it and handing it back to him.
"I was wondering," I hear him say as he steps aside.
I look up after I finished writing a name on a cup so our eyes meet. Breathtaking. I can see he has lost his train of thought for a second but quickly gains it back.
"Um, what time is your break?" he asked not breaking eye contact.
"1." I say taking the next order. His name is called and he sits down in his regular spot.
The next day I expected him at 1 but to my luck, he wasn't there. Hopefully he'd be here at his normal time adleast. When my break is over I wait and wait but this hour seems to go by very slow. As I hear the door open and the bells chime I look over and he's just walked in.
Today i decide to take it one step further. I start scribbling on the cup before he even gets in line but hold it until he gets up to me. I scribble for a while but he doesn't notice. Today is one of the days he orders two coffees beside his so he doesn't have time to sit down but that's even better for my plan.
"I think you know what my first drink is going to be," he starts. "then a tall vanilla cappuccino and a grande latte." he finished handing me his card. It's so cute when he speaks coffee.
"Sorry I couldn't make it for your break." he said picking up his coffees. "I will tomorrow." he promises as he walks away. I see his face light up when he looks at his cup.
