Chapter 3 'Oh Shit'

Victorias POV

I was on my way to a little diner in town about 15 minuets from the school. I was at a four lane intersection. I stopped looking around to see if the coast was clear. no one was at the intersection so I started to go when all of a sudden I heard loud screeching and then darkness enveloped me.

Ceal's POV

I got into my 2009 GMC Sierra when I heard screaming. I looked out the passenger window and saw the new girl everyone was talking about taking on Avery, the pack/school whore, she whipped her up by her hair an pushed her up against Stephanie's car. The new girl whispered something into Avery's ear and dropped her and walked away. So I threw my truck in reverse and sped off. I was going 90 mph going towards the four lane intersection when I got there I saw her. The new girl. I slammed on my brakes but I was going to fast! I hit her..... I jumped out and ran to her. I took off her helmet and my wolf, Adrian, screamed in my head 'MATE!' I picked her up an put her in my back seat and her bike in the bed of my truck and sped off to the pack hospital 30 minutes away. 'God, please don't take her',I thought, 'I don't know what I would do if she died. Having killed my own mate without even knowing her.' Then tears streamed down my face an I welcomed them, from the thought of loosing my mate.
