Always There (Natsu x reader)

Chapter 2

(Y/n) p.o.v. 4 years old

I was still running. Years streaming down my face.

I stopped suddenly when I heard a loud roar. I looked up to see a black beam shooting through the sky.

I slowly walked forward, still catious of what made the dark beam.

Something was coming into view. It was a Dragon. Wait what!!

A DRAGON!!!!

My eyes are trembling. Im just standing there.

'I might die if I get close' I thought still in fear. I didn't want it to see me.

I hid behind a large oak tree. It's bark making light noises against my flowing black shirt.

Apparently the noise was too loud because the Dragon looked straight at me.

"What are you doing here child?" The Dragon asked me. I was shocked that it spoke.

"I'm r-running away f-from my old house." I said stuttering remembering the scene.

"Why would you run away from your home? Did something bad happen there?" The Dragon asked with sympathy in there voice.

I burst into tears. He put his wing around me. Blocking the cold air from reaching my body.

"Child what's your name? Mines Moonlight." Moonlight asked with curiosity.

"(Y/f/n)" I said still crying. He looked at me and smiled.

"Do you want to learn my magic? It seems your already used to dark magic." Moonlight says awaiting an answer.

"S-Sure. I would love to learn your magic." I said in excitement. 'I'll have a father again'

"Why not we go to my cave. We'll can start there." Moonlight said with what looked like a smile.

I slowly got up felling better than before I came here. I followed Moonlight to a giant cave.

"Here will be your new home. Trust me it's much more roomy than you think." He said with happiness in his low voice.

I smiled looking in the place that will be my new home. Can't wait for the adventure that awaits me.
