Chapter 1 - Frosty Retaliation 

North Antarctic - 1997 

General Archibald crossed his arms Frozen and 

Weak was his troops. It had crossed him a few 

Years ago for the position of his current job. 

It was not about his age; the pure white stash 

Of clumped hair on his head did not scare him, 

But his age frightened him, to know that each 

Day of his life, was just one day he lost on 

This hospital yet comfy rock named Earth. 

It frightened him, that a simple flick of a 

Non- Gravity switch on Earth would ruin almost 

Two-thousand years of society, buildings and 

Advancement. The young boy resting on the wooden 

Bed opposite him, carrying his L115A3 sniper rifle 

As if it was a warm inviting teddy-bear. He shook 

His head, the boy was too young, his eyes focused  

In the pale aqua light which spanned half the room, the  

Other shrouded in the absorbing shadows. The boy was too  

Young, Archibald knew that an accidental flick of  

The switch in the boys sleep would end his life 

Before his sole returned to his body, Archibald 

Knew the boy could have had any future. 

'Yet he enrolled in with us 'thought Archibald. 

Archibald shook his head of thoughts, he grumbled 

Then wiped a hand down his face, clearing the 

Frost from his face. It had been a year since they 

Touched down on Antarctica, at first it was fun, 

Hanging out with the locals from their tribes, 

He chuckled remembering a few fond nights.

It had  

Been four months since he had last felt freedom, 

After the four months of his freedom, he and the 

Other lads had to get ready for the mission, studying 

Their targets, training for the harsh conditions, one such 

Training exercise, was when he had to climb up the side of 

1249 meter mountain, collecting the local birds eggs, it was 

Not the height he was afraid of, as he would die from 

The resistance of air, before he touched down on 

The ground, but rather the birds who plucked his hands 

When he reached into the holes in the cliffs. 

He didn't really mind this mission, unlike 

Many, yet something about the one bloody 

Sheet of ice annoyed him; it could have been the eeriness, 

The mystery, but he reckoned what chilled him down to the
