"And the winner is; Storm"I walked off the stage with my winnings. Yeah I streetfight, I enjoy the danger of it. I also make a shit ton of money while doing it, win win.

My dad got arrested a few months ago, so I have to make the money.My mom still has six more years of medical school before she can get a decent job. I feel bad, she works a full time job and has school. I really do admire my mom, with a job, school, two kids, and two dogs, she really does do a good job.

I grabbed my blue gym bag, and was almost out the door when this guy who looked to be around my age bumped into me. Jackass, he bumped into my hurt shoulder.

I look up and study his face a bit. I notice he has electric blue eyes, and faint freckles around his nose. Theres a scar above his eyebrow too. It suits his image, you know, the big scary bar guy. At least that's what I think he is.

"Sorry, My names Shadow." He introduced himself and offered his hand for me to shake.I looked at it confused by the gesture. Most people you come across around here pull a gun on you, not shake your hand. I lean in and subtly sniff his breath, hm that's weird, not a hint of drugs or alcohol.

"I've never seen you here before" I said with a little giggle. What is wrong with me? I never act this way to anyone ,especially in these parts of town. It's dangerous to show any sign of emotion besides anger.

"That's because I'm new here" Shadow said. My dads gang just moved into this town." Bingo! That explains it!

"Well you might not want to offer your hand to people, they'll consider it as a trick and pull a gun on you."I stated rolling my eyes at the end.We talk for a little while longer before I check the time. Shit if I don't get home soon mother is going to notice!

"Well I got to go ,I have shit to do tomorrow"I mumbled.

"Oh well then I won't keep you here any longer.Hope I see you around" Shadow squeaked in the most annoying and kind of adorable way ever.

I walked out the door and caught a cab back to my house. It was about a 45 minute drive, and the driver wouldn't shut up. All he was talking about is how I shouldn't be running around town this late it's too dark for me. Which personally pissed me off, is it because I'm a women? I'm not much of a feminist but it does piss me off when people say shit like that.

The cab dropped me off a block from my house. I climbed a ladder to get to my window, and jumped in. Its dark but, it's not the first time I've had to do this. I took a shower and snuck into my bed.

The only problem was I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking of Shadow there was something off about him. I clear my mind the chance of me ever seeing him again would be super low. Ugh, I need to sleep.

I was walking into math class with my best friend Joan.When I heard we have to go to the gym. By the time we got there, almost everyone was seated.

Joan and I snuck to the back row, and pulled out our phones like usual. I fucking hate pep rally's, they're so noisy.

Then, in walks Shadow with four big men. One of the teachers gave Shadow a microphone.Then he spoke "Im looking for a person her name is Storm" haha he was dumb enough to use my street name.

My real name is Prescott but my friends call me Chipmunk because of how big my cheeks are.
Anyways he was looking around for me.
Then he was on his phone for some reason. He looked at it then at the section I was sitting in.

He started to walk straight towards me. He grabbed my arm and took me with him. Once he took me out of that room he drugged me and then I woke up.
