Let's Mate

Jungkook probably should've went home, but he truly wasn't all that tired so he decided to walk around town a bit to relax.

Happily nod peacefully window shopping and finding amusement in the littlest of things as he continued down the towns plaza square.

A beautiful smell wafted into Jungkooks nose and mind yet he didn't think too much or second think about the perfect mixture. Of vanilla, hazelnut and nutmeg that simply made his mouth water with fire trailing down to his stomach. Making him worry about getting turned on in public.

As he continued his stroll the smell got stronger as if it was following or coming towards him, making a shudder run down his back for an unknown reason.

"Excuse me sir, but can you help me take this to my car?" A brittle old lady kindly asked Jungkook and he didn't have the heart in him to say no.

"Of course, halmeoni" he exclaimed effortlessly picking up the two stacked boxes following the women to her car. Neatly placing it in the back seat where she asked to place them. Jungkook beamed feeling better for helming someone as he walked away.

"Thank you young man!" She called after him the nice interaction made Jungkook see the day in a different light.

Jungkook's neaaring the corner of the plaza and that's when the Vanilla ravishing smell hit him at full force. His face scrunched up while certain body parts of his begin to awaken. Jungkook panicked wide and alert, quickly to check his surroundings to make sure no one's looking at him. It's then he by accident connects eyes

With a brown haired boy with big beautiful doe brown eyes, and then it clicked. Mate.

The urge to whisper the word out loud overwhelmed Jungkook but he confused on why his mate wasn't feeling the same effects as him.

Could it be he's human? Or..maybe he doesn't want me.

The thoughts sadden his day once again as he goes to turn around not ready if the beautiful boy is going to reject him. Wincing when his phone rings he bitterly answers it figuring he'll walk around the store also not wanting to look weird in front of his mate.

"Gukie, are you home and well?" Jin kindly asked over the phone making Jungkook smile softly at the caring natural of his Luna.

"Actually Seokjin, I'm at a store but I plan on going home soon and then I'll rest" He confesses glancing at the many nicknacks displaying in front of him.

"Jeon Jungkook! I specifically told you to get some much needed rest and you're not listening to me!" Seokjin scolded the younger frowned

"But, hyung I told you I was fine" he fought back picking up a pretty sculpture that he tried to think where it'll fit in his home.

"Gukie you've been up four nights in a row working on pack treaties please go to bed and take care of yourself" Seokjin begged which made Jungkook feel guilty for worrying his Luna.

"I apologize Seokjin, I'll get some rest as soon as I get home"

Taking the pretty painting with him he heads over to the cash register to pay.

"Hey Gukie!" Amber an Omega from his pack exclaims cheerfully as she scans his item. Smiling politely he returns the gesture

"Guike you never took me up on my offer!" She whined punching somethings into the machine in front of her. Jungkook stares at her confused

"I'm sorry Amber but what offer?" He politely voiced his thoughts making the tomboy frown before she smiles softly

"Ahh I understand you've been busy with your Beta duties you forgot about my proposal on going out for drinks together" The girl says connecting dots and jumping to conclusions, that were half true.

"The busy part is true Amber, but I never agreed to said proposal and respectful and honestly I don't think I would, choesonghamnida" Jungkook replies bowing to his Noona respectfully grabbing his purchase to leave.

"Uh! Gukie! Why do you always play hard ball!" Amber whined as he made his way out ignoring the girl. He grew nervous seeing his mate leaning against the cement pole alone hands in his pockets as if he were waiting for something.

Which Jungkook assumed was the bus seeing as the bus stop sign was right besides his mates head.

Gaining some confidence he walks up to the gorgeously tanned boy. Jungkook frowned when getting the scent of other wolves coming off from the boy.

Jungkook figured he too was a wolf, and judging from his fragile looks and demeanor he was an Omega.

Jungkook didn't know what to say so he figured he'll wing it,

"Hi" he nervously breathed out.

This was the moment of truth either he gains the person to stand by him for the rest of his life or gets rejected he just hoped the boy gave him a chance.

"Can I help you" his mate rudely asked, Jungkook had to wrap his head around the fact that such a deep voice came from such a fragile person before he spoke.

"We're mates" Jungkook stated cutting to the point. And judging from the look on the boys face, he knew too and chosen to ignore it so, Jungkook started walking away.

It was obvious the boy didn't want a mate so why waste his time when he was unwanted.

Right? Unaware of the curious stares he gained from his mate, Jungkook walked to his Charger. Placing the painting in the trunk before he took off.

A shuddering breath leaving past his bright pink lips.
