Alishba POV:
The whole breakfast was filled with chattering. Ishra kept on rambling about how we need more clothes. My father kept glancing at me but I pretended to not notice him. Honestly, I was not ready to forgive them. I wanted it, Allah knows how much I wanted it but I couldn't I was afraid to get hurt again. My gaze met Ryan and found him already staring at me. I quickly averted my gaze and bit my lip form embarrassment of getting caught staring.
Once we were done I scooted to my room. I decided to be alone but fate clearly doesn't want it with Ryan hot on my heels. Once inside I quickly made my way in the balcony but Ryan was faster and blocked my way. I glared at him but he looked unfazed. "Please, I need to talk to you. Please Ali, just hear me out." Despite how pissed off I was at him his nick name gave me butterflies. The looks in his eyes didn't help as I suddenly felt my self melting. I huffed and walked into the balcony with Ryan following me.
I stood near the railing and turned around crossing my arms. He was a few feet away from me watching me intently. "We don't have all day." I said rolling my eyes. He walked towards me and sighed. "How are you?" I shrugged, "fine." I walked towards the seats and took a seat making myself comfortable. "I-I wanted to tell you something....about my past." My ears perked up at his words. His expression was grim and his eyes hard. I felt shiver up my Spine under his gaze.
He took a seat opposite me and made himself comfortable. "Why do you want to tell me about your past?" I couldn't help but ask. His jaw clenched but relaxed when he looked me. His eyes softening, "I'm sorry if I scared you yesterday. I just got-" he paused and looked away his cheeks reddening a bit. I smiled seeing the hardcore Ryan blush. "Is the great Ryan saying he was, um what was that word...jealous?"
He turned towards me glaring. I raised my hands in surrender and smiled. His eyes softening makes ng my heart skip a beat. He opened his mouth to say something but we got interrupted with the knocking or better, banging on the door. "Open the door, Alishba. You can't hide. Open the door or I'll break it." I laughed at afan voice. My smile flattered as I saw Ryan watching me, his gaze intense. "You should laugh more often. It suits you." He said with a smile making my heart beat faster and my stomach flutter.
I got up to avoid any awkwardness. I briskly made my way towards the door. Opening it I was in a bone crushing hug. Air left my lungs as I gasped. Afan was hugging me tightly practically squeezing me. "C-Can't bre-brea....the." I gaspes out the words. Afan instantly stepped back and smiled sheepisly. I panted a little before giving him a mock glare. "What was that for?" I smacked his head lightly.
He shrugged and took a seat on the couch making himself comfortable. "You started to annoy me with your mood. I didn't like that a bit. Now I feel how you have felt when I annoy you." I smiled at my brother and crossed my arms smirking. He raised a brow and me and said before I opened my mouth. "But that doesn't mean I won't annoy you. I like it when you get annoyed and all worked up." This time he smirked. My face fell but I still had a small smile on my face and I stuck my tongue out on him. He rolled his eyes and muttered. "Real mature, sis."
Before I could say anything, Ryan walked in the room and nodded towards afan before locking me under his gaze. "We'll talk later." I only nodded and he went out of the room. The room fell into eerie silence until afan spoke. "So, you and ryan..." I raised my brow and then shrugged. "I don't know, he just said he wanted to talk and I said yes. He was going to tell me something but you interrupted." I scowled towards him but I was smiling.
