Chapter 3|School, same freaking school

POV Leah:

"Why are you smiling?" Bella asked curiously.

"Oh, nothing. Just a... good weather." Masking a smile, I walked down the hallway.

"Uhuh, that 'good weather ' just went by. Didn't he?" Bella asked, giving me a look.

"Oh, stop. It has nothing to do with Edward." I said rolling my eyes.

"Then why don't we go outside?" She gave me a big smile with a challenging look.

"I am not going outside, until the temperature is above my age." I say, giving Bella one of my best smiles.

And there goes the bell.

"Good morning Lee High School. Today's quote of the day is: 'Once a year go where you have never been.'...."

"Like to school." Crossed my mind.

"Miss Peterson, what did you say?" Asked teacher.

"Oh, nothing. Absolutely nothing." I didn't realize that I said that out loud. Some people in a class started gigging.

Class flew by quickly and I was each to get out of the classroom.

"MORNING, LEAH! "

I jumped two feet at the sound coming to my left.

" Don't scare me like that Edward!"

"Sorry, didn't know that would scare you."

" You yell out your lungs and you expect me to be perfectly fine with that?"

"Yeah, 'right'."

I just went down the hallway, walking away from him.

"Wait!"

"I need to go to class, see you later."

"Okay..."

The rest of the classes passed very quickly. Me and Bella walked out, laughing at an occasional joke, until my eyes locked with Edward's and Bella just happen to disappear right at that moment. He came up to me.

"Hi Leah." Edward said, taking my hand.

"Hi Edward." I answered smiling.

"I was wondering if you could hang out with me. We with my friends are going to hang out at my house. I will be very happy if you could join us. So, what do you say?"

"That's great. I will love to."

"Perfect.  I will give you a ride."

"Thank you."

I dropped some of my stuff in Jessica's car and was about to open a door in Edward's car, but he went up and opened it for me.

"Alright?"

"Alright."

"Popcorn and movies are waiting for us!" Edward shouted excitedly.

Suddenly, he took a very sharp turn at like 100 MPH.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... Easy, you are driving a car!" I started panicking.

"I failed my driver's test 5 times." He announced looking over at me.

"You say!"

"Actually the third time it was going about how this is."

"Fail?"I smirked quietly, shaking my head.

"Totally!"

"How did you manage to pass at all?" I asked confused.

"You know, we call that a miracle ."

"Ha. Ha. Ha." I said with monotone voice.

"What's your problem Leah Autumn?"

"You know my middle name?"

"Stay at the topic."

"Huh?"

"What?"

"What?"

"Are you trying to make fun of me?"

"Of course not." I forced an innocent smile.

"I can see when you lie Leah Autumn!" Edward raised his eyebrows at me.

"Whatever." I carelessly answered.

"Don't whatever me!" He crossed his arms offended.

"You're driving!" I yelled at him.

"So..."

"Are you kidding me?"

He pulled into his driveway, laughing at me.
