"Hannah get your ass down stairs" my step dad yelled
"No"
"Get your ass down here before I go up there and get your ass and beat you"
If you couldn't already tell I have an abusive step dad and my mom passed away 3 months ago. My dad lives in west Monroe Luisianna. He is going to court to gain custody, if anything happens to my step dad then I have to move with my dad. I love my dad he is so nice and he has 450 acers of land an I love to hunt.
"Ok"
"Now Im going to the store I will be back. dont you go anywhere."
"Ok"
My stepdad left and I called my dad.
Phone conversation:
"Hey dad"
"Hey honey"
"Dad I miss you so much I hope my stepdad dies he is a dick."
"I know honey. I have sent someone to get you he should be there by now. Leav your phone there so he can't track you. Pack your things you need I will get you new clothes. "
"Hold on someone is here. "
"Is it a silver Chevy?"
"That's him"
"Go get in his truck. NOW. "
"Ok love you see you later bye. "
"Love you too bye. Don't forget to leave your phone delete everything."

So who ever this "John Luke" guy that came to pick me up is pretty cute.
John Luke's pov
This girl that I was sent to pick up is very pretty. I think I like her. Wait no I just met her
"So it's Hannah right?"
"Yes sir"
She is very polite. I think I like her already.
"So I happen to think your a very beautiful girl. "
"Thank you. Your not so bad yourself"
"Well thank you"
She didn't say anything she just smiled and ducked down.
"Why did you duck?"
"That was my stepdad,he told me he would kill me if he saw me leave."
"Ill protect you. I promise"
"Thank you" she said blushing
"Your dad is my neighbor. Our parents are best friends. "
"We should hang out later if that's cool with you."
"Yeh that would be cool."
"I'm gonna go to sleep" she said tired.
We finally got to here house and she was still asleep. I picked her up bridal style and took her inside and layer her down on her bed. I sat down and played with her beautiful long light brown hair. I got up and went to go get her bags from the truck.
When i came back in she was awake.
"John Luke?"
"Yes?"
"Can you stay?"
"Yes ma'am what's up?"
"I'm scared he is going to find me"
"Don't worry beautiful I'm here to protect you. I'm not going to let anything happen"
"Thank you"
Hannah's pov
John like just told me I'm beautiful and he is going to protect me. He is such a gentleman.
"Hannah?" he asked
"Yes?"
"Would you like to go out with me tonight?"
"I would love to!"
I wrapped my arms around his neck and gave him a big hug. The best hug of my life. I have never felt so safe.
"Did you know that your so beautiful?" He asked
"Thank you" I blushed
"Ill pick you up at 5:30"
"Ok I got to get ready, see you then"
"Bye"

John Luke's pov
I just asked Hannah to go out with me tonight and she said yes. I can't wait she is so beautiful.

"Cool well go get ready."
I went upstairs and stripped of my clothing and hopped in the shower. I got out and wrapped a big Fluffy camo towel around my torso and head to my room to change.
