I woke up slowly, pins and needs all over. I got up from my awkward position on the floor, stretching. The glass barrier was down now and all the inmates were up. Joker was lying in bed, massaging his head. I saw the gaurd that knocked me out the previous night and immediate anger surfaced.
'HEY YOU! IF I GET OUT HERE YOUR DEAD MEAT!' I yelled, swinging back and forth of the metal bars. The gaurd jumped and swiftly walked away.
'PRICK,' I screamed, outraged.
'Rose just shut up,' Joker sighed angrily as he screwed his eyes tighter. I instantly went silent, shocked. He hasn't used that tone of voice for ages. I growled and paced back and forth, mumbling curses. I sat in the corner where I was invisible to him. Penguin chuckled from his cell as he watched us both.
'This is a good show!' He chuckled.
'So says the fat little bird,' I snarled.
'Rose I said stuff it,' Joker groaned in annoyance.
'Fuck off Joker,' I said bravely from my safety corner, fear lingering. Penguin let out a dramatic gasp as Joker started yelling.
'Don't start that you little bitch,' Joker screamed, his voice echoing.
'Well at least I'm not a big asshole!' I retorted, slightly proud of myself. Silence followed, a long dangerous one. Joker suddenly let out a slow, deep chuckle.
'Smart retort for a stupid whore,' he said slowly, hissing the ending. I jumped up, infuriated. I marched over to the bars, seeing Joker lean in his cell, smirking. I was about scream at when I noticed his pale torso, shutting me up. My eyes scanned his tattooed chest, the chest I hadn't seen in weeks. Joker's smirk widened, walking over to me. I sighed frustratedly for two reasons, one for losing the fight and two for seeing my Joker and not being able to touch him. 'You ok Rose? You a little...frustrated?' He husked, making me slump against the bars, closing my eyes. Joker laughed slightly. I suddenly felt an electric current run down my spine. I jumped up straight and groaned slightly. I turned to see the gaurd from earlier.
'This is for threatening a gaurd,' he growled before tazering me. I hummed slightly, trying to control myself. I don't now why tazers don't work on me... Might have something to do with being electrocuted so many times. Yeah thats probably it.
'Hey man, may I have a go?' Joker asked eagerly. The gaurd shrugged and passed it to him. Ok he is stupid.
'Me next!' Penguin giggled, causing Joker to snap at him ,'quite twat'. He grinned at me, making me weak to the knees. He started turning up the dial.
'Level 8, level 9, level 10,' he chuckled as I watched him. He aimed it at me, grinning. My body started shaking at the weird sensation which eventually became to much.
'J-joker, please stop,' I whispered, grasping onto the bars for support. Joker flicked a switch and the electricity went. I took heavy breathes, trying to recover.
'Enjoy that baby girl,' Joker husked, making me growl.
'Shut up,' I sighed as he burst out laughing. Ohhh, so that's what caused his little out burst.
(Jokers P.O.V)
(A few hours later)
I checked a clock that was hung up over a wall, half 9. If Rose was right, it should start to get quite.
'PST, Rosey,' I whispered as she slumped over, groaning.
'Yes clowny?' She whispered back, still annoyed from earlier today.
'Be reading for 1, we're getting out baby,' I winked, watching her face break out in a smile. She was actually really cute without make up, making me grin more.
'And we don't have time to kiss or anything so just hang on,' I added seriously, seeing her nod. She skipped around the cell, giddy. Two men came over to her cell, hope and love in there eyes. She must of captured my charm cus she had these two falling for her.
'Just wanted to say goodnight Clide,' One smiled sheepishly.
'Aww, how sweet. Enjoy the party!' She said in an extremely flirty tone. She leaned up and pecked them both on the cheek, making something burn inside me. I know its an act but they don't deserve her. They waved before heading off, flicking off the lights on there way out. Rose blew me a kiss before going to the metal slab we called a bed. I retreated to mine, playing along. I spent the following 4 hours thinking. Eventually I got too restless and I jumped up, checking the time, 10 to 1, perfect. I took out the keys that Rose so excellently stole. After bending my arm awkwardly to get the key in, the door swung open and I rushed out, careful to be quite. Rose was sitting crossed legged in the middle of the floor, looking into space. I opened her cell as she jumped up and ran out silently. She smiled at me with her big, sparkling, green eyes.
'Follow,' she whispered, nodding her head. I grinned and followed her down the hall as she silently lead the way. A back exit was clear ahead as I started towards it. Rose suddenly pulled me into a room. I started to protest before Rose but her hand over my mouth, watching the door closely. Noisy guards passed, going home.
'Oh, look where we landed,' Rose whispered, turning on a light. We were in a room, lined with lockers.
'Catch,' she said, throwing my items at me. I grabbed my clothes and gun, holding them tightly.
'Get changed,' she said, waving her hand. I chuckled as she went behind a locker to get changed. I swiftly got into my purple jacket, proudly putting my gold chains back on. Rose jumped out, all dressed up with her make up done.
'How the fuck did you do that so fast?' I whisper laughed.
'Woman's secret,' she winked before kissing petal and opening the door. Since neither of us had amo, these were only on for show and fear. We headed out the door and into the cold night, free.
