Phaylin POV

I walked to the bus stop many times before school started, not once have I seen that boy. Not once have I seen... him. Not until today.. He's pretty tall, not the tallest person, he has a pretty average appearance, brown hair, not dark but not pale skin, thin lips. Its just his eyes... his eyes are different. From afar he has brown eyes but when he comes close to me, close enough to see his eye color, they're really purple. Not deep purple, just dark and tinted purple, his eyes have hints of brown and maybe a little green. His eyes, once he comes near, I get mesmerized, and I've only seen him like.... three times, and this is a week before school.

I once tried to talk to the boy, but it was useless, he looked at me and smiled, but never replied, it made me feel like a ghost.... my parents would've named me something spirit or ghost like if my mom didn't choose Phaylin for a name. She liked the name because it means sapphire or something like that. Oh, he's trying to read what I'm writing, I'll say something...

"Yes..?" I kept my eyes down but I could feel those curious eyes peering at me. I waited a moment and heard a reply

"Name..." he said. I looked up and he pointed to himself "Name"

"Name? Oh... my name is Phaylin, yours?" I asked

"No... not name, mine..." He said like he spoke for the first time in a long time, like his vocals forgot how to work.

"What about your name?" I tilted my head slightly sitting down on the concrete

"Give name.." he said motioning to me, and then pointing to himself.

"You want me to name you?" I looked at him raising an eyebrow.

He nodded. "Please.. I.. forgot" he said his first sentence that made sense to me.

"Okay..." I looked up names that mean spirit, I wanted to name this strange boy a strange name not to just be mean, because he was strange. I found one "How about Alastor?" I looked up and saw his eyes they weren't purple, they turned grey, and when I looked up at him his eyes started gaining the purple color again.

"Yes.. I'm..." He coughed trying to work his throat "Al.. alastor"

"Okay Alastor.." I twitched a little, he was leaning a little too close for comfort

"I... have a re..." He puffed out his cheeks "a re... request"

"What is it?" I scratched my head

"Teach" He rubbed his chin

"Uhh... sorry I dont understand, and I have to go home so bye.." I said walking home away from Alastor, whom was making me feel slightly uncomfortable.

I heard soft footsteps not the ones that are loud that fully visible people make when they are stomping on ground. It was soft stomps, like it was a ghost. I ignored it and ran home and closed the door.

After five minutes I looked over notes in my phone and I went to my room silently, and got ready to bed. The clock read 20:47 *if you dont know military time, then take 12 away from 20 and then you get 'normal' time*

Hey hi, hows it going? Good. Good. I wanted to make it longer as you could probably see me trailing it on but I just couldn't think of anything else and I have a headache. I'm trying to write a little each day and try to get over 400 words each chapter, because that would suck if it was a supposedly long chapter but most of it is just the author signing out. Also you might be wondering 'why did you use military time Carlie?!' well thats because we're all stupid and need to do math if we want to know what HUMAN or NORMAL time is so if its 24:00 take away 12 and its 12:00 a.m.  well bye now I hope this does it well for you
