It was September 1st. The greatest day in Morgana's life. She would finally go to Hogwarts. Escape the hell she called home. Leave her ever dooming fate. She looked out the window. The sky was grey, not a cloud could be seen and ravens were surrounding her house.

She walked to her drawers and got out her Slytherin robes. She put the uniform in a separate bag. She got dressed in jeans and a comfortable sweater and got her luggage that she had done the other day. She brushed her long hazel brown hair and went downstairs. She found her father sitting around the table, coffee in one hand, Daily Prophet in the other. She got chills down her spine when she saw him.

Her father was Rodolphus Lestrange. One of the most wanted Deatheathers in London. Her mother, Bellatrix Lestrange was in Azkaban for killing Sirius Black. Her father, however had gotten away. He was presumed to be in hiding, but really he was right in front of her, safe and sound in an abandoned cottage he made home.

Morgana didn't notice the house elf coming towards her until he was right in front of her. "What can Binky do for Ms Morgana?" Rodolphus dropped the Daily Prophet and looked at his daughter. "A hot chocolate would be enough." Binky nodded and ran as fast as he could to the kitchen. "Morning" her father said, in his deep thick voice. Morgana looked down as she walked to the table and sat opposite him. "Morning."

She could feel his eyes piercing her like daggers. She was scared to look up and meet his eyes. No matter how scary her mother was, she feared her father the most. When her hot chocolate arrived, she drank it slowly. Nobody spoke a word. Silence scared Morgana. She knew that after silence was a talk. A talk she never wanted to talk about.

"Now that your down here, we have a lot to discuss. Your mother might be in Azkaban but that won't stop your marriage with Draco." Morgana closed her eyes. Like all pureblood families, she was to marry someone of her parent's choice to keep the bloodline pure. Draco Malfoy was their choice.

He was also a Slytherin like her. In fact they dated for a brief time, until Morgana called it off when she found out she was to be married to him by the end of seventh year.

"That will happen a week after your seventh year. Also by the end of this year, you will pledge your allegiance to you-know-who. You might also be given a task but let's not get to that just yet." She banged her hand on the table and yelled at her father. She told him she wouldn't do it. Never in a million years. At least that's what happened inside her head. In reality, she didn't respond or talk back. She learned not to anyways. So she drank her hot chocolate in peace, while she was dying inside. Desperate to say a word.

"Snape will be here in five minutes. Finish what you are doing and wait outside." He then left to wherever he goes to everyday. She sighed and went to brush her teeth. When she was done, she grabbed her luggage along with her owl and went outside to wait for her potions professor.

He arrived shortly, wearing his usual black robes. "Professor." He nodded and grabbed one of her luggage. They started walking through the forest surrounding the house.

"Rodolphus told me that you are now the Defense Against The Dark Art Professor." Snape sighed. "Morgana. He is your father. You need to stop calling him Rodolphus." "He doesn't love me like a father should. He's never there for me either. All he cares about is serving you-know-who." "That's not true." Morgana stopped walking and looked at Snape. "Don't lie. I hate it when people lie." She then continued walking and arrived at their apparation spot. Snape came up behind her and looked at her before apparating to the train station.

He gave her the luggage and looked at her. "I'll see you in school."She nodded and went through the platform. She got on the train and found all the compartments empty. She always went early on the train to avoid the dirty looks people gave her.

She sat down and started reading Tales Of Beetle The Bard. After a while she didn't notice the train had started moving. She could now hear more people walking in and talking. She put on her Slytherin robes and fell into a soundless sleep.

She woke up to the sound of the train stopping. She got out and avoided the stares people gave her. They always talked about her and gave her dirty stares. Who wouldn't. She was the daughter of a deatheather and a murderer. She looked at the thestrals. Some say that you could only see them if you have seen death. Morgana could see them clearly. It wasn't the first time she saw someone die in front of her at the hands of her parents. She got on a carriage alone, like always and it drove to Hogwarts.

Morgana could finally see the big castle with millions of windows. She stepped off the carriage and followed the students. Once in the Great Hall, she sat down and looked at the beautiful bewitched ceiling.

Once everyone was in, Headmaster Dumbledore started speaking. She ignored his first speech and looked at the people around her. Some were chatting. Some were looking attentively at Dumbledore. Whatever they were doing didn't faze Morgana.

She was jealous of all of them. They all had a happy life. Parents who love them. Friends to care for. Why couldn't she have that? Why did she have to have the worst parents in the world. She made eye contact with someone from the Hufflepuff table and suddenly looked down in panic.

She saw that the food had appeared and started eating. "I wouldn't know. Saint Potter might though. Why don't you ask him?" She recognized the voice of Pansy Parkinson. Draco's now girlfriend. She ignored her and her friends and continued eating. Once she was done she stood up and went to the common room alone.

It was located next to the dungeons and it was as dull as her house. But somehow, she felt safer in Hogwarts. She found her dormitory and sat on one of the beds. It had always been her, Pansy and Astoria Greengrass in one dormitory. They never talked to her though and she liked to keep it that way.

She changed and went to sleep, waiting for the next day to come.
