(Teaser) Chapter 8

Trunks' P.O.V

Everything is going to hell right before my eyes! Dad's winning against Cell at least, but he's getting cocky. I know where this is going... At this rate, he'll end up listening to Cell and he'll let let him absorb 18! Damn, (Y/N)'s still in the Time Chamber with Goku and Gohan. We're going to need them to stop my father or, in the worst case, stand a chance against Perfect Cell because Krillin's dumb ass broke the remote!

Wait... they've stopped fighting... They're talking, great! Maybe it'll buy some time for Goku and the others to get here! Wait... what are they saying?! Is my father fucking crazy?! Come on, there's no way my father's dumb enough to actually listen to Cell and allow him to achieve his perfect form, right? Right?! Oh no... No no no... NOOOOO-

(Y/N)'S P.O.V

My family and I are a lot stronger than we were when we first entered the Time Chamber. Unfortunately, I'm still not sure that we can beat Cell. Gohan might be able to if he would just tap into his true power, but he's a but of a pacifist in this timeline... very unlike my brother was back home. Oh well, no time to dwell on that too much. My dad's really great though, I really am going to miss him when I return to my timeline... but at least I'll still have Trunks! I wonder how he's doing... hopefully his Prince-of-all-pride-and-getting-his-ass-kicked father hasn't gotten them killed!

Muffin: Ok, so this is the beginning of chapter 8! I'm still working on it, but I thought I'd release this to show you guys that I've made progress towards the next official update. I just got a shot tho! And I freaked out because I'm terrified of needles :(
