With a swift of the wrist, the silver sword slashes the enemie in half. The enemie has allies with it and they go after Ashley. Ashley's twin broth, Alex, goes and helps her while their friends finish off the others. Ashley and Alex are sixteen year old of age, they have been killing their enemies since they were really young. The blood of the enemie splatters every wheres. Vampire blood.
"Ash! Behind you!" Alex shouts. Ashley holds her sword and spins. Then a head of a vampire falls to her feet. One more vampire left. Ash steps forward. The vampire, male, takes her sword and throws it then he grabs the collor of her shirt and throws her, also. Ash goes flying through the air. She hits the brick wall in the alley of Burlington, Vermont. Then she hits the ground, and she is aware that her forehead is bleeding from hitting the bricks. The vampire is gone. She knows he's infront of her, there invisibility can't fool her. She reaches for a silver knive in her boot, but the vampire is now on top of her and pinning her down to the ground. Ash sits her head up a little, and with effort, she head bangs the vampire. It hurt her but she didn't care. The vampire stumbles back, now she can grab her knife. She gets to her feet and throws the knive, and it plants its self in the center of the vampires chest. The vamp falls back, dead. Ashley gathers her weapons and cleans them.
Ash and Alex didn't know their parents, they died when Ash and Alex were just a couple mons old. Now, they live with their uncle, Henery. Henery was their fathers brother, he kills vampires also. Hes a vampire himself, actually. But he doesn't kill people, he drinks animal blood and help kill his own kind. Ashs and Alex's parents were also vampires, wich means they are vampires them selves. Henery had trained them, just like he trained one special human, Aberham Lincoln. Henery has trained other humans who are Ashs and Alexs age, they all live in a HUGE house here in Vermont.
"We should burry them." Alex suggests.
"No." Ash says. "Let the rats eat their flesh and they can rot." Ash is the only girl who hunts vampires. Her best friend, Xavier, steps up to them along with his older brother, Kevin. "Let's get out of here before the wolves come to find us." The four teenagers walk back home, although Alex could've brought his truck, but he didn't want anything to happen to it.
They all get back to the house and they go wash up. Ash sits on her bed in her pajamas and slippers. Shes reading, she loves reading. There's the sound of the big bell that Henery has when there's a new comer. Ash gets to her feet and quickly puts on her vampire hunting gear, she always puts her gear on when some one new comes. She never put gear on when Xavier and Kevin came because, she was only four years old, and she needed help to put on her small gear, pluse she was just a little thing.
Ash takes off down stairs where every one else is gathered. As soon as she enters, she sees four new comers. Four boys all teenagers. One looks up at Ash. He has black hair and blue eyes. Beautiful little bastard, Ash thought. Most of the boys that lives in the house fall in love with her, and the look of this one, he's definitely in love. The others look up at Ash, too. Alex winks at her. He knows that the one with blue eyes already has the "hots" for her. Ash gives her brother a deathly look.
"Ash, you finally came." Alex says.
"Well, I almost didn't." Ash says. Ash goes and joins Alex, Kevin, and Xavier.
"Ash, the blue eyes are in love with you." A guy behind her says. Ash turns around. Its, Sam. God, she hates him so much and he will do anything to piss her off. Hes also a vampire. Once he back handed her, wich was a mistake because Xavier, Alex, and Kevin got revenge on him. And he hasn't touched her since, but he makes her so mad. "Want me to go get him for you, ginger?" Ash hated being called a ginger, because she has red hair, not orange. She grabs the collor of Sams shirt and throws him across the room. Henery gasps.
"I'd watch what you say, bitch!" Ash is filled with anger, and when she this mad Alex has to bring her somewheres away from people, so no one would get hurt, or even killed. But not this time, she standing her ground. She walks over to Sam, who is laying on the ground and he's screaming. "That's right, if I was really mean I could've killed you, but rate now we have guests so I decided not too. Next time I will kill you, slowly and painfully, I set you on fire and eat a tacco and watch you burn, that sounds really good." Then she walks away up to her room. After a while Ash falls asleep.

Ash wakes up to a 'BANG'. She sits up and grabs a knife that's on her night stand. She sits up and thinks. Then she puts her knife back down and walks down into the hall. She knows what it is. Xavier walks into the wall again making a loud banging again. Hes drunk. Ash walks over to him and grabs his hand, and she leads him down the hall and into her room. She shuts and locks the door she doesn't wander off again. She brings him to her bed and he lays down.
"Ash, can you give me a kiss?" Xavier asks. Ash laughs and shakes her head.
"Your drunk, go to bed." Ash says.
"You kissed me before." Ash looks away. He's right, they have kissed. They were thirteen and in the roof of the house, and he was the one to kiss her so she told him she just wanted to be friends, and he never tried to kiss her again. She remembers the time when he said, "slap me if I ever get drunk." She looks at him, then punches him instead of slapping. His eyes are filled with mixed emotion.
"What the hell was that for?!"
"Go to bed, loser."
"Dork." Then he falls asleep. Ash leaves her room, but makes sure her door is locked from the inside, and goes to Alex's room. She slips through Alex's door and he sits at his desk. He looks up at Ash as she walks in. He looks worried.
"Whats wrong?" Alex asked. Ash walks over to his closet and opens it.
"Xavier is drunk... Again." Ash says as she grabs the blow up mattress from the closet. She lays it on the floor and hooks everything up, then it starts to fill itself with air. "He's only fifteen, he shouldn't be doing that, he learned his lesson tonight." Alex shakes his head.
"What did you do?"
"Punched him." Ash and Alex never lied or lies to each other. "I couldn't resist." Alex chuckles. Ash has always been the violent one. They all call her "The Angel From Hell". It suits her very well, she really likes that nick name. The air matress is all done, so Ash makes her bed and lays down on it. Her short red hair sprals out around her, on her pillow. Then she laughs to herself, remembering when she was a toddler and calling Alex, Allie.
"Whats so funny?" Ash just shakes her head.
"Nothing, Allie." Then she fell asleep to her brothers laughter.

Ash slowly sits up and looks up to her brothers bed. He's gone. She gets up and walks down to her room, and she puts her gear, and she does her hair and makeup. Once shes done she walks down to the kitchen where every on else is.
"God, I always the last one." Ash mumbles. She passes Kevin who holds a plate of eggs to her. "Not hungry." She goes and sits at the Hige table next to- Xaveie isn't down here yet. At least I'm not the last one, Ash thought.
After every one is seated and eating, there's a sound of footsteps coming down the hall. The Xavier walk into the kitchen.
"Does any one know where I got this black eye?" Xavier asked. Ash looks up and sees his black eye. She hit him harder than she thought she did.
"I have no idea. None." Ash says. Alex goes along with it. She can tell Alex isn't trying to laugh.
"Hmm." Xavier walks over next to Ash and sits down next to her. He shakes his head. "I can't believe some one punched me, I'm to precious."
"On opesset day." Kavin mumbles. "You probley deserved it."
"No, I only told Ash to-" Xavier turns his head and looks at Ash. "You punched me!"
"I never said that." Ash says.
"But you did!"
"So? What does it mean to you?"
"My black eye!" Ash is enjoying her self. She loves messing around with her bet friend like this. "I told you f I do something to, to slap me, not punch me!" Ash grins at him.
"I couldn't resist it." Alex and Kevin Burt's out laughing. Henery Drops his fork and it clatter on his plate. 'What the hell is wrong with you?' Henery moths to Ash. She still has a grin on her face. "Everything, uncle." Ash gets up and leaves, she makes her way to the training room.
Ash throws knives and practices with her bow an arrow. She hits the bulls-eye in every target, it was a gift. Ash would sometimes go th the mall, and the girly-girls would alway say something about her, but she doesn't care, she could drain their blood and lives if she wanted to. The training room door opens and the blue eyed boy she saw last night comes in. Why him, she thought. She throws her knife and it's another bulls-eye.
"Well done." Blue eyes says. Should she answer him? What does she do?
"Thanks." Ash says with a flat tone.
"I'm Luke."
"I'm Ashley, every one calls me Ash." She filled with relief, because of this hot guy talking to her. She walks over to her target and recollects her knives. She puts her knifes away and looks over at Luke. "You hunt vampires?" He nods. The fans blows their way. The smell of him, he's a vampire, also. "You're one yourself."
"Yeah."
"I'm also one, it's only my brother and a other kid, and I for vampires here... And my uncle." If she was human she would be blushing and her whole body would be warm, but she's not a human she a full out vampire. She turns away as the door opens. Kevin.
"You two are needed in Henerys office." Kevin says.
"What the hell! I didnt do anything!"
"You did punch Xavier."
"We'll he was drunk, and I thought it would be funny."
They all walk down the hall and Alex and Xavier join them. Ash and Luke walk side by side with their shoulder touching. Henery only call for Ash if she did something or if she needs to go out and hunt vampires. She guessing spits vampire hunting, because there is other, and they didn't all get in trouble. No one gets in trouble in the house except Ash. They go into Henerys office and sit down at the table. Ashs phone vibrates in her back pocket. She grabs her phone and slips it under the table, she has a text message from Xavier.
"Ash, put the phone away." Henery says. Ash puts her phone on her lap and her hands on the table. "You all are going out tonight, there is an enemy... The worst enemy in all time." Luke tightens up, and Ash catches him. This isnt right. First four new comers, Luke tightens up, and the enemy. Something is really wrong, Ash thinks. She checks her phone for time, 7:49. Time goes by fast.
"It's going to be dark soon, we sh old get ready and head out." Ash says with a shap tone.
"Good luck." then they all go to their rooms. Ash opens her weapon closet and fills herself with weapons because she already has her gear on. Once every one is down they all meet up outside in the woods. Ash had walked with Luke, because he didn't know where their meeting place is.
"We need to go to Rutland." Kevin says. And then they were on their way. The way they walked next to each other in the sunset, with their weapons and everything, it's a beautiful sight.
