I felt as if my body was floating ....I woke up in darkness.
I'm floating in darkness....
I saw a light above from me . I reach my hand out towards the light .
"Mom..." I whispered
"Catherine " I heard a warm soft voice .
I turn and see a blurry face .
"I promise you I would always protect you ...even from afar ...even if you don't remember ..." The blurry figure came closer to me .
Its hand trailed to my cheek .
"Who are you ?"
The figure laughed .
"It's better you don't know me ....that was the deal."
The face cleared ...I could kinda see who it was ... A boy who looked like Henry's age smiled at me with his pale eyes .
He hugged me and held me tight .
I gasped .
"I wish I could be this close to you ..."he came to my lips and kissed me softly .
I felt my eyes close ...
"LOOK YOU CAN'T TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME AND I WON'T LET YOU !" I heard someone shouting .
"I AM HER FATHER !" A booming voice said .
"WHO CARES YOU DO NOT DESVER HER YOU HAVE TREATED HER SO HORRIBLE !"
"SHUT UP !" A loud crash woke me up .
"AHHH!" I get up and run out of my room .
"DAD !" I screamed
I saw Henry panting on the ground a big bruise was on his cheek . He coughed out blood .
"GET YOUR STUFF NOW !" My dad yelled .
"LEAVE ME ALONE IM NOT GOING WITH YOU !"
I quickly went down the stairs and went to Henry's limping body .
"Are you alright .." I choked out .
My eyes went watery .
"CATHERINE NOW!"
"STOP !" I yelled .
He grabbed my arm and tugged me harshly .
"STOP IT !"
"LEAVE HER ALONE !" Henry screamed .
"SHE'S MY DAUGHTER YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO !" My idiot father yelled .
"DAD YOUR HURTING ME !" I cried
He squeezed my arm more .
He threw me on the ground and charged towards Henry .
"NO!"
I was about to hit Henry when I stupidly jump in the middle and I felt a sharp pain on my cheek .
I tasted blood
"CATHERINE !" I fell on my back .
My father froze.
"LOOK WHAT YOU DID !" Henry shouted .
I touched my cheek and hissed .
My eyes went blurry with tears . I could only see my fathers figure as he just stood there not moving .
"Kat.." Henry held me in his arms .
I bowed my head....
"Catherine ..." My father whispered .
"I-I am-" I cut him off.
"What the hell ....why are you here....why do you want to take me in now ...." I clenched my fist .
"After months of not talking to me now you come in here charging like you own the place ...." I gritted my teeth .
"GET THE HELL OUT ! WHY DON'T YOU GO TO YOUR SO CALLED FAMILY AND LEAVE ME ALONE ! YOUR NOT MY FATHER AND I'LL NEVER ACCEPT YOU AS ONE !" I cried .
My dad ...just stood there shock
"Fine ...I'll leave ..." He walked to the door and stopped .
"I hope as a father I can forgive you ...because the words you just said to me ...just made me hate you more ...pray to god I can see your pathetic face and forgive you ...."with that he slammed the door.
The room went silence ... my eyes where again threatening me to cry ....
"Catherine ..." Henry said softly
"It's okay...let it out ."
I look up and see his eyes soften .
He knew I didn't want to cry in front of him ...
He hugged me...

A sob escaped my mouth and that's when HELL BROKE LOSSE
"Henry !" I cried and let everything I had inside .
I clenched his shirt with my small hands . His body covering me with my small tiny body....I cried while he rocked me back and forth .
I found myself feeling weak and soon my sobs slowly became quieter and my eyes closed . Henry's warmth helped me feel safe for some strange reason....
