Janelles POV
Today is my first day of my senior year. I am so excited because that's one more year I have left to get out of this place. Let me tell you some more about myself.
My name is janelle Nicole Anderson, I'm 17 years old and I live with my mom. My parents got divorced when I was like 2 or 3 then me and my mom moved to North Carolina, where we live now. After they seperated my dad never tried to contact me so I'm like fuck him! I heard he got remarried and had another child too. He's nothing but a sperm doner.
"janelle hurry your ass up before you're late on your first day" my mom yelled
"Alright ma dang" I finished getting myself together. I grabbed my bag and phone and walked down the stairs.
"Goodmorning ma"
"Goodmorning baby, I have to get to work early today so I'm heading out, love you have a good day" my mom says walking out of the door.
"Alright, love you too"
I went in the pantry, grabbed a pop tart and got in my Toyota Camry and drove down to School. When I got there I got out and saw my best friend rakim . I ran up to him and jumped in his arms
"Hey Chris! I missed you" I said wrapping my legs around him. Me and him have been friends since kindergarden days when someone took my crayons and he beat up the kid for me. Ever since then we'd been together all the time.
"Hey bae" he says putting his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek.
"Y'all should just go out already" his friend Keon says
"Me and him are just friends! I couldn't date Chrissy pooh "
"Sureeee"
By now were sitting on the brick wall outside of the school and I was standing in between his legs with my arms resting on them. I sat outside and talked to Chris and Keon for about 10 more minutes waiting for the rest of the crew to come. Once the rest of them got here we talked for a little bit.
Once the bell rung we went to get our schedules. Me, rakim, Alex and Jayla all had 1,2 and 4th period together
"Nelle what are you doing today after school" Chris asked me
"Not shit, why wassup"
"You wanna come help me watch my sister tonight ?"
"Sure, lemme just go home first and change clothes ."
"Alright, meet me in my house in like an hour."
With that being said started to drive home. When I got there I changed into some yoga pants and an old t shirt.
On the way to Chris' house I got hungry so I stoped and got Chris, his sister and I some mc Donald's. When I got there I put my car in park in walked in.
