Chapter 3

       Simone's story was on the news and Josh's parents were watching it. They yelled to Josh upstairs," Josh come look at this!" He went down stairs and saw what was on the news. " Doesn't she go to your highschool?" Said mom.  No words came from his mouth. He ran upstairs and snapped is friends. He was so depressed and mad. His parents didn't know she was his girlfriend. He ran back down to his parents and told them," That was my girlfriend..." he muttered while crying. "What did you say?" Mom said. " THAT WAS MY GIRLFRIEND!" He yelled. He immediately ran up to his room and slammed his door. He ran to his bed and jumped stomach, crossed is arms and cried in them. His mom walked in and sat on Josh's bed with him. " Honey I never knew, I'm so, so sorry." Mom said with sympathy. He wiped his face and sat with his knees to his chest. He put his head on his arms. " Mom I'm so mad and sad. I want to hunt this guy down, and take him down. I'll call the police. I'll do whatever I'll have too." Josh said. He went back to crying, his head in his knees. Mom put her arm around Josh. " Honey I have so much sympathy for you. I loved that little girl she was so sweet. You guys always had play dates when you were 9, you both were best friends. " She said. She was mad at his mom, he jerked away, grabbed his phone and ran out his house. He rode his skate board and skated around the blocks to cool down. He came back to the house around 10:20. Josh smelled something tasty. His mom made chicken broccoli casserole. He got it out of the fridge and reheated it. Josh's parents were already in bed and so was his brother. He got his supper and took it upstairs.
