Washington the once former Capital of the U.S. and the late Capital of the Empire was now and foremost a warzone once more. In the very streets gun fire and machine gun fire could be heard echoing throughout the very corners of each street and building. To Frame however this was just another Battle a tiresome and pointless battle that he would win no matter what.
However the man himself was standing in the middle of a dimly lit street where he could clearly hear the sounds of men and women scream all around him. He could have been there to support them and give them a Leader, but instead he was waiting on someone a certain someone he hadn't seen in almost a year.
"Dad!" The Word echoed through the alleyway as the Man turned his head to find a Young girl standing at the far end of the entrance. The Girl had brown hair, looked to be a saint, and looked fairly dressed who would blame her for the last one though considering her step father was in fact the Head General of the Military. The Young Girl's Name was in fact Allie but that was normally the only thing people would ever call her by considering her Step father who she preferred to be his actual father had never exactly given his real name to anyone it was his little "Dirty" secret a joke told time to time by Allie.
"I thought you would have gotten here sooner I got worried." He slowly walked over to her as she ran up to him quickly hugging him as she finally reached him.
"What so I'm supposed to be scared of all the shooting and screaming? Remember your a General for a reason Dad." She smiled before stepping back to look up at him while he returned the glare.
"That has nothing to do with your safety now does it?" He smiled down at her while she returned the smile only to walk along side him out of the alley way continuing their conversation.
"So how's Uncle B and Uncle M?" Allie had spoken in complete confusion and curiosity even though Brandon and Malcom were not even related to Frame they still felt like family to Her at least.
"They are fine enough even though they are currently in lead of our army in China at the moment." He sighed heavily as he placed both of his arms behind his back while he continued to walk alongside his Daughter. It wasn't until he heard the sound of some object falling behind them that which he turned around to pick it up, but instead of something valuable it was a book a book which seemed strange and looked to be a Greek Mythology book.
"X-Strike? I suppose this is yours Allie?" He turned around after closing the book only to see her take it slowly while looking up at him with a slight nod.
"It is the only thing that keeps me from going bored." She continued to look at it before putting the book away in a small bag she had with her.
"What is it about?" Frame looked down at her as he finally looked back up at him after putting the book in the bag.
"Its about a boy named Canix who in his world its just like ours but instead its a bit less advanced in technology and has well you know Greek gods and such, anyway in it hes on a quest to find out who he is and what his purpose is I think I don't know I haven't read much of it yet." Frame raised a eyebrow before taking his hat off to scratch his head he had never heard of this book before and from what she had said it would seem this "Canix" was more a boy chasing his dreams than anything.
"Interesting but I think that should be read at a later time considering Hero's cannot be formed from Dreams, but who am I kidding." He sighed again before putting his hat back on realizing they had reached the military zone or in some cases the Battle front headquarters for their forces in the city.
"It is time you need to get out of this city and I promise I will see you again." He smiled as she hugged him one final time before walking away to a nearby soldier who appeared to have been waiting for her. When Allie did reach the Soldier however he slightly nodded at Frame before walking away with her away from Frame's View.
