"Welcome," he smiles. "Have a seat" he extends his hand out for us to sit. I sit in the chair in front of me, I see there are like 6 more empty chairs.
"How have you been Joy" Robert leans on the chair at the end of the table.
"Good and yourself," I ask him with a fake smile plastered across my face.
"Wonderful," He says, then Helen comes out with people behind her carrying food.
"Food ready," Helen says as she sits on the opposite side of the table from Rob.
"Our other guest should be coming soon" She looked at me smiling and I nodded me head smiling.
"Nice to meet you King" Rob nods his head to King.
"Nice to meet you too"King nods his head. Then I hear some knocking at the door.
"There goes everyone else" Helen gets up and the people that brought the food out start putting food on our plate.
"Thank you," I say to the women putting food on my plate, and she gives me a slight smile.
My attention goes to the opening and I hear voices talking, then I see Sam walk into the room. Of course.
"Did you know he was coming" I lean over and ask King.
"Nah," HE tells me.
It was Sam and some lady. "Now that our guest are here let eat," Rob says smiling.
"So I never did introduce Helen to you all, well Sam, Jen I know you know her," Rob says to us. "This is my wife Helen" he smiles at her and she smiles back. I guess the lady name is Jen.
After we go done saying grace we start to eat.
"So Sam how is everything going," Rob asks him.
"good, finally found Willow," He says I look up from my plate.
"Who's Willow" Helen ask.
"My daughter that my ex-wife took from me," He tells her and she nod her head.
"Wow, where was she" Rob ask.
"I found her with Joy and King," He tells him.
"Oh wow, that great" Rob gives a smile.
"So Joy how's your mother" Rob ask me and Helen coughs well it seems like chokes. I cut my eyes at him and roll them.
"I haven't seen her in months, so I don't know," I tell him with a smile on my face.
"Well have you looked for her," He asks me.
"Yeah, I have, but no luck," I tell him.
"Aw.. well King tell me about yourself,"Rob ask King but I can't hold my tongue anymore.
"When are you going to acknowledge the real reason we are here" I ask Rob and look at me weirdly and King puts his hand on my thigh. "it's funny how easy it was for you to contact me for this dinner and your going to act like I'm really just your niece when I'm your daughter" I just say to get it off my chest. "I'm going to go to the restroom, excuse me" I get up and walk out.
