Between the lines

Part 1

I felt an explosion inside me , all these feelings that wanted to come out. I was tired of being quiet and playing nice . I was tired of taking it slow and maintaining my calm while you played me like that.

I know you feel the same way and were not making any moves , I've decided to tell you how I feel no matter if it ruins our friendship or not.

Emma's POV
I woke up catching my breath , I just had a very intense dream about regina where we kissed and ugh it was just so real . Sadly I had to wake up and go to work .

I got to the sheriff station and did some paperwork . Suddenly I heard those heels clicking, I knew it was Regina. She came into my office and greeted me.

Hi sheriff how's your day been? She asked with a devilish smirk

Good yours ? I asked as I scanned her body.
She was wearing a tight pencil skirt with a blouse which was partly unbuttoned and I could see her lace bra.

"Good , but better now that I get to talk to you" she bit her lip, oh god I am already shaking .
Why would u say that? I asked trying to be brave. I don't know you tell me "she said.
Our eyes met and we just stared at each other for a minute .

"So did you finish um... That paperwork "

Yeah, I am working on it i said with a smile .

Okay then um... I have to go , see you later. (she seemed a bit flustered)I stared while she left my office. Damm if only I could get close to her . If only I could have her for one night . Hours passed and now it was 8:30 pm I was heeding out of the office and decided to go to grannys.

I sat down on the bar and orded a martini , Ruby came back with my order

"Whats wrong Emma you seem a bit down"

Nothing I am fine,

Yeah you are she smirked

"But really is anything bothering you"

Well I've been wanting something that I probably can't get .

And what is that something?

Nah that, I cant tell you I laughed

Well okay if you need to talk , I am always here she smiled and kept working.

I was getting more drunk as timed passed and suddenly I received a call , It was from Regina.

"Hey emma can you pick henry up from Jason's house? I am busy with something at the moment"

I started gabbling and mouthing stuff since I was completely drunk .

"Emma is something wrong?"

Ruby saw the situation and took my phone

"Hey" she said
Hello is this Emma? Regina said through the phone.

"No this is Ruby , look Emma is hella drunk so.."

Ohh I see..  she's at Grannys right?

Yeah

"I am on my way ... "

Wait wha-— she was cut off when Regina hung up .

She handed the phone back and I just sat there with my head on the table.

Reginas POV

I knew I couldn't leave Emma at grannys drunk and all by her self so i went to pick her up and then henry.

I got there and Emma was a drunken mess she was laying on a table babbling and acting crazy. I went up to her and tried shaking her to bring her back to her conscience .

Gina? --- regina , (she looked up at me) hey what are you doing here she laughed.

I am here to pick you up , were leaving ...

No the night just got started I don't want to leaveeee.

Emma stop acting like a child lets go!

I grabbed her by her arm and she stood up , she could barely walk so I had to carry her to the car.

"Emma why did you get drunk in the first place"I snapped at her.

Because ! She screamed ,  I don't remember she started laughing .

"Emma this is not a joke buckle up"

What if I don't wanna

"Fine  I will then"

We were on the car and it was not easy for me to reach her seatbelt from the driver's seat.
I had to basically be on top of her to reach it. She started laughing at the situation and so did I . Finally I grabbed the seatbelt and buckled her. Then I started driving to henry's friends house.
We picked henry up and I was gonna leave emma at mary Margaret's house.
Yes I said gonna because thats not what ended up happening...
