Chandler's POV
I sit down in the movie theater with Monica next to me. We reach into the popcorn bowl and slightly touch hands. I look at her. She looks at me. We ignore  what just happened and keep eating. The movie begins playing and Monica gets a little closer to me.
After about an hour the movie starts getting intense.
"I can't look!" Monica whispers. She buries her head into my shoulder. I stroke her hair. Eventually she lets go and we keep watching the movie. The movie comes towards the end and to people end up getting together. Monica says "awww" a lot a I just sit and watch.
After the last scene; a romantic one, Monica looks at me. She slowly gets closer. We are a couple centimeters apart when she brushes her lips against mine, eventually moving them harder and faster. I let her kiss me. I know it's wrong but I let her. She pulls back after a minute or two and tries to kiss me again.
"I can't."
"Why? And don't tell me it's because you're dating someone. Tell me the real reason." She forces.
"Well, Mary is really fantastic and I love her. But I still love you too. Mary's great and all but I don't know. But I know I really like you. I also know that it would be wrong to take you back after you hurt me. I-I don't know what to do."
"First I want to say I'm sorry I hurt you. I obviously want you to pick me but I want to help you. So let's get a cab and I'll ask you some questions."
I nod.
We step into a cab and she starts.
"Does she love you?"
"Yes."
"Who said it first?"
"Her."
"Have you?"
"Yes."
The light in her eyes drain and she gets pale.
"Ok." She mumbles.
I stare into her eyes, my insides rotting.
"Excuse me but we are at your destination!" The cab driver yells annoyed.
I pay him and we walk upstairs into my apartment.
"Chandler?" She asks when we get inside.
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I know."
"I'm so sorry." She admits. She starts to cry.
"Don't cry." I soothe.
"I'm a terrible person!" She sobs.
"No your not." She won't stop crying. I can feel her pain. I brush her hair with my hand and pull her chin up. I go in. I kiss her. I kiss her with passion and grief. She pulls me closer and I feel myself being pushed slowly into the bedroom. I let it happen. I give in. But boy am I glad I did.
