"And what was your brother like?" he asked. It was almost dawn, and we were still talking just as if we were normal friends.
"He, he was just an ordinary big brother, but he cared for me. He protected me, he was the best big brother ever. I'm now just an only child," I explained.
"You'll always and still be a lucky sister," we stood in the silence as I was blinded by bright lights pointing at my eyes from a car. My eyes adjusted as the car turned off.
"Honey! Where have you been!" my parents came to me.
"I just needed some fresh air, sorry. You can take me home," they gave me a hug as the stranger awkwardly stood there.
"And you are?" my dad asked him.
"I'm Jack Gilinsky, nice to meet you sir," he shook hands with him. "I just ran into her and we talked for a while, sorry to hold you up," he apologized. My dad nodded and got into the car.
"Let's go," my mom grabbed my arm and walked me to the car.
"Wait! I didn't get your name?" the stranger named Jack called.
"I'm sorry, uh, Jack was it? I have to go," I replied as I got into the car and buckled my seatbelt. I saw him just stand there as our car drove away.

«★»Weeks have passed, and I still always have thought about that boy Jack.
He had a very nice structured face, with a sharp jawline. His hair was angled to one side, like most of the boy's hairstyles these days. He also had a nice smile, which is always a bonus.
I still have no clue why I even remember him perfectly like I see him everyday. I don't.
Back to the reality, school was tomorrow.
I'm not even prepared, and you know why?
Because I moved. From South Carolina to Los Angeles. That's a big upgrade. The terrible thing is that I have to start from scratch. New friends. New teachers. New neighborhood. New house. A new world.
How would a seventeen year old girl like me make new friends? It's high school for God's sake. I was screwed.
I rolled my eyes and quickly shut off the lights. I finally felt my eyes get heavy, and then I was out.

«★»My stupid phone just tends to make my morning- note the sarcasm.
I quickly plug my ears so I avoided the loud ringing come through the speakers. It never ends up working. I pulled my sheets off of me and turn off my phone. Every year I always believed that I would prepare my outfit for the first day of school, but it always never happened.
I put no effort into my outfit this morning. Andrew use to always wake me up, and wish me a good day. He put me before himself.
"Morning," I called as I took the toast from the toaster. I quickly put Nutella on it and munched it up. I looked in the bathroom mirror and obviously saw some of it on my face. I quickly wiped it off, trying not to ruin my makeup.
"Bye mom, bye dad," I spoke in a gloomy tone. They just laughed and I walked out the house and to school and to continue my living hell for the next year.
