You might think it's strange, wearing safety pins. It's really not. I'm wearing one right now. Wearing a safety pin tells people around you that they can stand next to you or talk to you of they're feeling unsafe. Some people don't know what it means and may ask so have an answer ready. It's like safe place. But its safe people. Don't you want people to feel and be safe? Take a stand. Wear a safety pin!
