Shane meets Ryland

(Shane's Prospective)
I anxiously wait for Ryland to arrive at my house. I had been asked recently to be on Ryland's show, Clever. We'd been dating for nearly 8 months at that point.
It was so hard not to run over to him, to cup his face in the palms of my hands and just kiss him. I love him so much.
He finally gave me the courage to take my shirt off when we were in my pool. Little did I know that he took a picture of me and my golden retriever, Uno. It was such a sweet picture, but I couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable.
I hated how pale my skin was. But Ryland didn't. I loved that about him. He doesn't seem to care about my thighs, or my weight, or anything like that. He is just such an amazing person.
While I was attempting to do a good job on Clever, I all I wanted to do was run over to him, and embrace him. He was so perfect.
He had a hairy chest like me. Which trust me, I hated for quite a while, but soon grew comfortable with. He was hairy all over just like me. He makes me feel so amazing and confident around him!
Ryland would be standing behind the camera the whole time, watching me. Which sounds creepy, but it's actually so lovely. Seeing his smile light up every time I made an inappropriate joke. It wasn't recommended, but every once and a while, I would sneek a peek at him. Those parts ended up being cut out of the final video, but I didn't care.
     I hear Ryland's car pull up in the driveway. I immediately become ecstatic that he is finally here! It feels like I've been waiting forever.
     I rush to the door, and go to his car. He steps out.
     "Hey! How's it going?" Ryland asks.
     "Good, good!" I say, nodding. "Let's go  inside. " I reach for his hand and he accepts. We hold hands until we gets into house. Ryland, being such a gentleman, shuts the door for me.
    "I could've done that, you know." I say, grateful.
     "Oh, I know! I just felt like it I guess.' he smiles beautifully, and we sit on the couch together. We talk about work, and YouTube, and the dumb shit revolving around Trump being elected as president. Trying to ignore the YouTube drama. It's crap, is what it is.
     I find that when Ryland starts a new topic to talk about we 'adjust our positions' by sitting on a leg, or stop sitting on a leg. And then we move a bit closer...
     I don't even realize I've done it until Ryland smiles and holds my hand that was on his lap. "I love you", he whispers.
     "I love you, too." I say, giddy and shy at the same time.
     Ryland moves in for a kiss, and I am more than willing to accept!
    Except...it wasn't just a kiss. It ended up turning into a make out session.
     I moved my hand to his sharp jaw, and rub my thumb back and forth on his right ear, with my other hand resting against the sofa for stability. He starts to almost sit on my lap, he's so close and holds my left shoulder. Then his other hand moves for my jaw. It's so wonderful...
     After a while I would do it slower and breath heavily, and he would ever so gently bit my bottom lip softly. I loved him so much.
     We pull away from each other just enough to look into the others eyes. I said "I love you so much Ryland," and replied "I love you too, Shane. Flaws and all."
     We hug for a good two minutes. When we pull away the sun is past setting. Ryland was more beautiful than any sunset I'd ever seen. And since I live in LA, I see them right out my window every day. And I have seen some really nice ones, too. But Ryland was breath taking. I asked if he wanted to stay the night, and he of course, agreed. We slept in my bed starting into each other's eyes, wondering how we both ended up with such lovely people. We held hands as we went to sleep. That was the most amazing moment I've experienced this year, and it's nearly December.
     Ryland was the highlight of my year, if I hadn't met him, I don't know where I would be.

Ryland is my EVERYTHING.
And I think...
