Flash Back:

"Baby girl promise me you'll go find your biological parents."

Tears streamed down my face at my mothers words, what if... my parents may not want me. That's why they got rid of me. But what I they've been searching for me all these years, realising that they made a mistake.

My mothers piercing scream snapped me back into reality. A large tree had fallen on top of her leg, crushing her bones instantly.

"MUM!" I cried.

I looked deep into her eyes. The clear blue eyes full of happiness and kindness, now where pained and lifeless. Tears sat at the bottom of her eyes threatening to fall.

Bright red and orange flames skipped from tree to tree, roasting every unfortunate victim that stood in its path.

"Sweetheart, you need to get out of here!" my mother begged. "Please!"

"Not without you!" I screamed over the distant cries.

"Go. NOW! I'll be fine. Leave!" She ordered.

Two men emerged from the sea of red and ran towards me. Everything happened so slow. One of the men picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. He didn't decrease his speed to help my mother he picked up his pace and started towards the only gap of the night sky.

Through the tears in my eyes the second man bent next to my mother or a couple of seconds, she gave him a reassuring nod. The man stood up and ran after me at 100 miles per hour.

Cries and Pleads for my mother escaped my mouth, but no matter how loud I called, how long I kicked and smacked my mother kept fading further and further away.

My eyes began to grow heavier and weaker, drouppinng in and out of conciseness. Her still limp body lay deadly still next to the firing trunk. I watched as her long body was swallowed up by the burning flames. Her healthy blonde hair disappeared into the element of the devil.

She was gone. I was officially alone...

Again.

3 Years Later...

I stood on the door step of a white modern house. The two storied house was stunning, but nothing compared to some of the houses that I have lived in previously. Security cameras where placed in every corner of the house, making me feel pressured and uncomfortable. I slipped there first peace of paper out of the clear folder double, quadruple checking that I had the correct address.

Yup, still the right address.

I rose my hand towards the tinted pine wooden door, hesitated for a few seconds before knocking gently.

The silence was so strong you could probably slice the air with a single breathe.

A faint shuffle behind the door finally broke the silence.

The door slowly opened and a pretty middle aged brunette stood in the doorway, the door covering half of her face.

Her eyes scanned over me.

"He's not here." her voice sounded familiar. She went to slam the door shut but I slipped my foot in between the door and the frame. She looked up at me with a mixed expression...hurt, horrified, surprised and somehow sympathetic.

"I'm not looking for a he ma'am. I looking for Johanna Polston." I tried a smile, but the door was crushing my foot so I ended up biting my lip.

"What do you want?" she asked half heartily.

" According to the papers I've been given she has a daughter. A daughter named Aná? Aná Tomlinson?" My voice was cracking and there was a lump in my throat. Thousands of thoughts where running through my mind. 'Is she my mother?' 'What did he mean by 'He?'' 'Does she want me?'

"Who told you about Aná?!" her voice was on the verge of breaking, her eyes began to sweal up with tears.

"I hired a private detector to help me find my parents." I took a gulp and cleared my throat, " I've been meaning to see Johanna for a while now, but every time I'll end up stopping myself, thinking that she never wanted me in the first place." I hadn't realised but I was crying and so was the lady in front of me.

"Aná?" she questioned. Her eyes filled with hope and love. "Aná? Is that you?"

"Mum?" I asked quietly, she softly nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, yes. Mum it's me Aná."

She clutched onto my shoulders and embraced me into a hug. I wept into her shirt as her tears slipped off of her cheeks and into my hair.

"Would you like a drink love?" Johanna asked.

"Um yes, tea please. Thank you Johanna." she looked at me with an unreadable expression.

"Please love call me mum." she smiled a loving smile and it felt as if a ton of weight had been left off of my shoulders. I nodded with out knowing.

" Yes Jo.... I mean arghh... mum." It felt wonderful to be able to say that again. Mum slipped off into what I was expecting to be the kitchen, I sat on the couch in silence. A comfortable silence.

Mum entered the room holding to mugs and handed me one, she sat next to me on the couch so I turned a little so was facing her.

" So tell me about yourself love." she started.
