Seto's P.O.V
"Ouch." I said as pain stings up my left arm.

"Well stop moving and it won't hurt." Ariana said to me. Her hands move closer to my charred and burnet skin.

"Any particular reason you're hurt in the first place?" Notch asks coming into the room. I look at the floor and put my other hand on my knee.

"Can we not have this conversation with Ariana in the room?" I ask. Notch turns around and crosses his arms.

"Ariana, out. I wish to speak to Seto alone." Notch snapped. Ariana's hands faint back to normal.

"But his arm-"

"I will deal with it." Notch said. Ariana gets up and leaves. "I'm mot mad at you Seto, I'm just disappointed." He flicks his hand towards me and my burnet skin turns back to normal, but a sharp pain hits my chest once he does the spell. I gasp slightly grabbing my chest as I feel the air knocked out of my lungs. I take a few breathes before I finally recollect myself. "I do not like being rough with you Seto. But who appeared out of that portal?" My eyes look at him.

"A girl." I said.

"What did she look like?" He asks not seeming phased. I stand up not looking away from him.

"I thought you said all the brines were dead and only Adam was left." I said.

"I said that because Adam was present when Jason asked about it." Notch said.

"You said you were done keeping secrets from us." I said. Notch walks to me and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"I am. That's why I asked you to check the portals. I fear a war may be coming. I need you four ready for anything." Notch said. I just stare at him. "Who's side you are on Seto? Ours or the enemy's." I pause for a few moments trying to see if I can tell any emotion in him that's not his usual. But of course I see nothing.

"Yours." I finally said. Notch smiles. He puts the serum vial in my hand. "Why not ask the others?"

"Because they tend to be reckless. They leave a trail behind them, you don't." Notch said walking away from me. "I want you to hold onto that for me Seto."

"Why?" I ask.

"You may need in." He said walking pass me and leaving. I look at the vial in my hand. I sigh slightly and put it in my pocket. I turn and leave the room. I need some sleep, be nice to sleep in an actual bed after being gone for four days.

Jason's P.O.V
"Where's Seto and Ty?" Farla asks us.

"Notch has Seto doing something and Ty is out on one of his trips again." I said.

"Oohh. Okay. Well I got things to do, people to see. I will see you guys later." Farla said leaving. I look at Adam.

"You have been strangely quiet." I said. Adam looks at me.

"Notch expects me to hold back everything and just fight hand to hand basically." He said. I shrug my shoulders.

"You are the best hand to hand combat fighter out of all of us Adam. Your magic can tend to...go too far." I said.

"I'm not doing it on purpose." Adam said.

"I believe you, but no more fire spells maybe. That seems to be one of your bigger problems." I said. Adam shakes his head.

"But I love fire. I can destroy everything in it's path, kill people slowly, and.." He stops talking once he looks at me. "I mean...fire just seems to work with me better then any other spell I have."

"Have you tried working with water? It's the opposite of fire." I said.

"Yes and it didn't feel right so I stopped working with it. Lava and fire just seem to work with me better then any other element. I'm trying to keep myself under control, but it's not working like it use to anymore." He said. I bite back my bottom lip. I was about to say something when Farla comes flying in again.

"O! I almost forgot. I got you guys something. I got it for all five of us." She said. She hands Adam and I a silver chain necklace. I look at it. "You know just to symbolize family."

"Thanks Farla." I said.

"Yeah thanks." Adam said.

"Okay. Now I'm going." She said leaving. I look at Adam.

"I'm hungry. You?" I ask putting the necklace on around my neck.

"Yeah. Let's see what's in the kitchen." Adam said putting on his around his neck.
