THE BLUE [Monsta X]

Chapter 1

The seven boys noticed immediately that their apartment has been cleaned. Their manager didn't tell them about somebody cleaning the apartment from now on but they didn't mind because the apartment was desperate of a housekeeper. "Guys I think we should thank our manager for hiring a housekeeper. This was so past due!" Jooheon said relieved that they could walk on floor in the hallway, not shoes. They all were happy about the surprising change. "Yeah that's right. Let's check out the rest of the apartment." Kihyun suggested and headed to the living room. But there was one boy who seemed more nervous than happy: Wonho ran into his room to find it tidied as well. Shownu came in and asked what the matter of his tension was. But Wonho just put him off and went to the living room, where everyone gathered - including an unfamilliar girl.

"Who are you?" Kihyun asked, since he was the first to spot her. She seemed a little shy and answered with lowered head. "I just finished cleaning the apartment and was about to leave." "You are the housekeeper? In this case we owe you something. You really did great work!" Hyungwon approached her and put his arm around her shoulders to lead her to the sofa. "Have a seat. Let's drink some tea all together. You must be tired after doing so much work alone." Hyungwon smiled friendly at her but she seemed too shocked to reciprocate it and ended up with a simple nod. In the meanwhile the other six boys sat down as well and started a simple conversation so as not to end up in an awkward silence while Hyungwon went brewing some tea.

"Why are you so nervous Wonho? It isn't like we're crowded by girls every day. What's up with a single one?" Minhyuk asked curiously. "It's not that-" Wonho was cut off by Shownu. "He's hiding something in his room and is nervous that she maybe found it." He nodded at the girl. "By the way - what is your name?" I.M said before Wonho had the chance to answer. "I'm Shinyoung." "That's a nice name." I.M gave her a gentle smile. "Thanks." Shinyoung replied shyly. The conversation was interrupted when Hyungwon came back with the tea and eight cups on a tray.

"So...Shinyoung. Is it true that Wonho's hiding something? Did you find something?" Minhyuk asked mockingly and took a sip of his tea. Shinyoung was a little surprised by this question but she shook her head - even though she didn't know which room was Wonho's. "I have a question. Aren't you taking your last music video concept too serious?" Everybody looked at her questioningly. In the twinkling of an eye, Wonho stood up. "Can we talk in private shortly?" He asked in Shinyoung's direction and presaged to follow him. Being left in curiosity, the ones who stayed in the living room started to speculate what Wonho hides in his room to bypass the time.

As Shinyoung and Wonho arrived in his room, he closed the door behind them and started talking. "What did you just mean with 'taking the music video concept too serious'?" He was so sternly that it scared Shinyoung a little. "I-I..found some of these blue flowers I saw in your music video..." She didn't really knew why Wonho was so serious about this topic but besides making her scared, it made her curious. "What's up with them?" She asked. Wonho seemed strained and didn't answer but asked another question. "Did you find something else?" He stared into her eyes as if he expected her to lie. "If you mean the little bottle with this blue liquid-" "You found it?!" Wonho turned away visibly affected. "You didn't do anything with it, did you?" He still didn't face her but sounded more nervous than ever. "No." Shinyoung answered intimidated, staring at his back. Suddenly, he turned around and came very near her face. "You can't EVER tell ANYBODY, okay?" He is too close.. Shinyoung nodded shyly and tried to back off, but she forgot that she already hit the door. Relieved, Wonho diverged from her.

"Don't you want to go back to the living room?" He asked as she didn't move. "Wha-what is up with the flowers and the blue liquid?" Wonho heard how she tried to sound powerful, but she couldn't hide how shy she was. He smiled unintentionally at how cute this side of her was."I'll tell you some other time, okay? Just never forget to keep it a secret. And now let's go back, before the tea will become chillingly."
