why do they ignore you?

I am only 14 but I am deeply madly in love with my ex bf ryan yesterday he told me he still   likes his ex lillyonna and he liked her when we were together and he also told me his deepest darkest secret and I was so upset crying I thought I would never hear from him again I thought I would not see him again at school. I'm not going to say really what was going to happen why I was not going to see him at school bc it's his darkest secret and it's personal and he told me today that I was the only one that knew his darkest secret his mom don't even know his darkest secret. But yesterday it was around 12:00 am I kept trying to text him and he was not texting back luckily he just fell asleep. But I was texting him all this stuff and one thing I sayed I know that u like lillyonna but we need to stick together and I know this is bad timing but can u be my bf again. He did not respond of course bc he fell asleep but I talked to him this morning and he told me that he did not read the messages and so I copy ed the message again and sends it to him and he send a confused smile face and I'm like it's a easy yes or no if u want to date me again and he said I have to think about it. Then I said I guess u don't like me no more bc if u did then u would just tell me that u do and not say u can't tell me or not. So now I keep texting him I see he's reading the messages he is just not saying much just some yes or no's. It's like he is a whole different person and just being werid that he is not saying  much. What can I do to help him in his need? To be honest I don't really know what's going on in his mind right now. He said that after he told me is darkest secret he thought I was going to leave him and he said that they always say that they won't leave and I'm like I'm not going to leave u ur way to valuable to me to lose u. I told him just please don't stop texting me.
