Tough Love

Chapter 5

*Emily's pov*

It took Max about an hour to get me ready. She pulled yanked and brushed my hair to perfection and she did my make up which was beautiful. Max dressed me in a 'botdf' band shirt and put me in grey skinney jeans and pink converse to match the designs in the shirt. My hair was pulled into a high ponytail and kind of curled at the end. When she was done doing my make up I looked into the mirror. My make up was simple but yet made me look even more beautiful. I had black eyeliner with a hint of pink eyeshadow and my lips had red lipstick on them but yet it was still a bit glossy. I smiled and hugged Max.

"Thank you!!" I thanked her. Max giggled and smiled.

"Now let's go I think we made him wait long enough." Max said while dragging me out of the room. We headed downstairs and Alex looked over at us and as soon as his eyes met mine he smiled. He looked at my new outfit and whistled.

"Wow...Emily you are beautiful." he said coming up to me and Max.

"Yeah I know right she is my piece of art." Max said smiling. I shook my head and walked towards the couch and sat down.

"Oh no girly, we are going to the skate park remember." Max said pulling me up off the couch. I sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, so who are we meeting there again?" I asked. Max smiled and put her phone in her back pocket.

"Well, we are going to see Alex's long time friend, other than me, then we are going to see my friends from my school." she replied. I nodded my head and hoped they will like me. As if he read my mind Alex came up behind me and whispered in my ear.

"Don't worry, they will like you perfectly fine." I smiled knowing he will be there hopefully by my side the whole time. I got out of his grip and headed out the door. I looked back to see Alex and Max following behind.

"So, are we taking your car Alex or are we taking yours Max." I asked.

"We will be taking mine." Alex answered and headed to his car. I followed him and smiled.

"SHOTGUN!!" I yelled running to the car. I heard Max groan and puffed out air.

"That's not fair. ALEX do something!" she whined. I looked at Alex and glared. He smiled at me and looked back at Max with a sorry face. I looked at Max and stuck out my tounge.

"Well then I see how you feel. I will take my car and you two have fun by yourselves!" she yelled at us and stuck her tounge out at us. I shook my head and got in the passanger seat. I buckled up smiled at Alex.

"Leggooo!" I cheered. He laughed at my excitedness and started the car and drove towards the park. It took about 5 minutes since I live a little far from the park. It was quiet and Alex wouldn't talk to me. I sighed and turned on the radio. The first thing that was on was 'Radioactive' by imagine dragons. I smiled and started to sing with the radio. I heard Alex laugh at me and my silliness.

"RADIOACTIVE,RADIOACTIVE! WOOOOAHHHH OHHHHOH OH WOAHHH OH IM RADIOACTIVE! RADIOACTIVE!!" I sung out loud and started to do a little dance in my seat that went right on beat with the song. Alex shook his head and kept glancing at me. I stopped dancing and singing and looked at him.

"What?" I asked. He shook his head and kept drinving. This teddy bear better spill, he is not looking at me and shaking his head for no reason.

""Don't shake your head at me mister. What's going on in your little head of yours." I asked. He shook his head again.

"If you shake your head at me one more time I will make you stop this car and I will leave." I threatened. He smired.

"Sure, whatever you say Em." he replied knowing I am too awkward and shy to do anything. But oh sir, you are way wrong, I am an animal if I warm up to you and today seems to be the day where I am warmed up to you. I leaned over and kissed his cheek and continued to kiss his cheek but lead all the way to his neck. He shivered and I smiled against his neck and continued kissing.
