Chapter 1

Emma sat down on the floor with her closet doors open hating the fact that she was supposed to go out tonight with her friend. She would have honestly preferred to stay put at home but Hannah just wasn't having it. Her best friend was a party animal and "no" wasn't her favorite answer on a friday night.
"Would you hurry grandma?" Hannah complained as Emma zipped up the little black dress that her wild friend had chosen for her."well damn you Pergins!you look better than me on a Friday night"her friend teased as she slammed the door shut with her hip as they got out of the house. This was going to be a long night.

It was exactly how Emma had imagined. Drunk girls throwing up in the ladies and guys who thought they were the ideal one night stands, who clearly were delusion. The sight of them made Emma's eyes roll in disgust and ungratefullness for having to be there while her bestfriend smooched some blonde after her third round of tequilas. It was agonizing just looking at the people there. She took a drink and wandered off towards the far end of the room away from the weird guys with tattoos and moustaches that looked like a 5year olds doodle gone wrong!

She was annoyed already before the wacko behind her tried his best to get a hold of her hips annoying her even more." Buzz off pimple face!"she yelled over the loud music at the guy who had gotten on her nerves with his attempts to have fun with her.

It wasn't long till she was drunk. Drunk enough to do something she would not do if not under the influence. She made her way through the crowd until she found herself in the midst of others dancing away to one of her favorite songs. Somehow this song seemed to bring out her inner wild cat as she swayed her hips to the beat forgetting about all her "no dancing"rules. The lights shone down on her catching the attention of those around her. She sure as hell looked sexy enough to catch the eye of those who would not have given her a second glance during the day. She danced forgetting everything and everyone around her till her song ended. She turned around her gaze falling upon a tall handsome figure that stood smiling at her. She blushed. Something about him seemed familiar and she dared herself to move closer to him until the beast in her reminded her that this would be a dangerous game to play knowishe didn't do handsome strangers. Not for a one night stand and definitely not in the intention of falling in love. She knew she would never give in to that. She wouldn't let herself become weak for another man. She had learnt her lesson once before and it0 was enough to stop her from ever falling into another man's arms again. That pain, the tears and the continuous reminder of her past was enough to make her turn around and walk out yet as she walked she could not forget the way he looked at her. It was like he had been teasing her with his looks.
