3 • The Beach?

Hayley's Pov

I woke up to Chanyeol's soft voice. I could hear waves. Wait. Where are we?

"Don't worry Princess. We are at the beach. You can open your eyes." Chanyeol smirked. I swear he just read my mind. I could feel his smile as he put his head in my hair.

I opened my eyes only to see Chanyeol staring at me smiling. I sat up and looked around. Oh my god! Chanyeol set up this picnic on the beach with fairy lights around us in the sand.

"Surprise!" Chanyeol basically screamed at me.

He stood up and got down on one knee. Oh my god! Is he proposing? Holy shit. I'm too young. Aren't I? What will my mum say?!

"Princess? You zoned out. I just, i just wanna say something. Hayley, the absolute love of my life. I was simply a man with no meaning until I met you and I'm proud of who I have become because of you. You make me smile when you get embarrassed. And oh god I love it when you smile. You, Hayley aren't just my girlfriend. You are the inspiration that inspires me to be a musician in Exo and to never give up on living. I'm so happy your brother introduced you to me otherwise I'm not sure where I would be. I want to spend the rest of my life with you but I know that can never happen. It isn't your fault your sick. I am only jealous that god will have you for longer than I will. So, Byun Hayley. With approval from your brother and mother. Will you do the honours of becoming my wife?"

At this point I was in tears, as well as my lil Channie. It makes me so sad though, I'm so deeply in love with him but I feel guilty as I can never give him what a girl can who doesn't have my disease.

"Yes. Park Chanyeol. I will become you wife. I love you." I smashed my lips on his. Our mouths working in sync with each other's. Nothing could ruin this moment. We broke our faces away from each other's to catch our breath. Then, I heard something in the bush. Rustling. I squealed and hid behind Chanyeol who laughed at my action.

"Woah guys that was so adorable! So perfect for each other. You have my permission Chanyeol!" Chen shouted emerging from the bush along with the rest of Exo, tissues and tears at hand. I can't believe they just witnessed all of that as well.

"Shhhh guys I want to say something else. Princess, why don't we call it our 365 day date? We spend the last 365 days of us being able to be together with each other 24/7. Exo will make this the best year!" Exo cheered and jumped around.

"I shall be yours Park Chanyeol for the last 365 days of my life. I shall countdown every day wishing for more time. But, in all honesty I have given up praying. God works in mysterious ways. If this is how long I have to spend with you and Exo then... then" I broke down in tears. I couldn't hold it any longer. I may have said that I wasn't nervous but I'm scared. I'm 23 and I'm going to die at 24. I don't want to die. I want to live life and have children. But, some things just can't be. I hugged Chanyeol and cried. We made a group hug crying with each other. That's how my night turned out.

So, the countdown begins.
