Mystreet: Aphmau's Pov
Garroth and I had finally arrived at the cabin after a few hours in the strange motorized carriage. After we got out and entered the cabin, he showed me around.
"There's only two room, since me and my brothers always had to share, and of course my parents shared a room, but we haven't been to this place in years. You can pick any room you want. We recently had the place renovated, new beds, new kitchen, and we got a tv" Garroth informed me.
I had picked one of the rooms, it had 3 beds, a single bed with brand new blue covers, and bunk beds. The top bunk had a black blanket on it and the one under that had a green blanket on it. Garroth came into the room carrying a few suitcases and a purple blanket.
"Hey Aphmau, I brought you a blanket, also I hope you don't mind if I stay in here too, since this used to be my room and my bed is still here." He said, motioning over to the bed with blue covers. He handed me the blanket and sat on his bed.
"So what's the real reason you don't want to stay in the other room?" I asked him. "I'm good at reading people Garroth" I told him.
"W-well this place just has a lot of fond memories... okay maybe not too fond Zane almost died... twice... but it's still just a place with a lot of memories!" He told me. I raised an eyebrow at him. "Okay, fine, you got me... there was a really big spider in the other room and when I tried getting rid of it the spider vanished. I'm not going back in there." He told me, looking slightly ashamed of himself. I tried holding back my laughter but I failed.
"Garroth, if you went through the insane fights my Garroth has been through, you would be grateful to just have to deal with a spider" I told him, laughing.
We had finished setting up our beds, but something was still on my mind.
"Hey Garroth? You mentioned Zane earlier, what's he like in this world?" I asked him, thinking of how terrible he was, and how I wished he died by falling off of the bunk beds.
"Well, you and him are best friends, he's really dark and gloomy, kind of genocidal sometimes too, but when you became his friend you really changed his life around, the two of you are really close, sometimes you have tea parties with my little horsey dolls" he told me, laughing to himself. I thought of the contrast between the two of them.
"Hmm, it's hard imagining having tea parties with fake toy horses with the person who mercilessly slaughtered hundreds, trapped you in another dimension, almost killed you, and then killed Aaron" I said, with a slight scowl on my face, which was void of emotion. Garroth coughed awkwardly, not sure how to respond.
"I'm going to go to the bathroom, you can um... I don't know figure out how the tv works or something." He told me walking off. A short minute after he left, something buzzed from my blanket. I looked over and saw what Garroth had called a phone.
Mystreet: Garroth's Pov
I walked back in the room where I left Aphmau, I heard her making a "shh" noise while cradling something in her arms.
"Aphmau, what are you doing?" I asked her. She looked up at me, a worried expression on her face. I heard something buzzing. "Is that your phone?" I asked her. She nodded
"It's so scared it's shaking, so I'm comforting it." She told me. With a sympathetic look. I couldn't hold back my laughter.
"Aphmau, that means someone you know is trying to contact you, let me show you" I laughed, climbing up the ladder to her bed. She handed me her phone and I read the messages, my smile instantly dropping.
