Juliet's POV

Song for this chapter- Let Her Go by Passenger

Love this song!

His words were true. Every single one. And they made my heart burst. He still wanted me, after all this pain I've put him through. He still loves me.

"Okay, I am ready to talk." I whispered, deciding if it would make him happy, I'll talk. "During that performance, I was thinking about why I did what I did. And like I said before, I was scared. That was part of it. But also, because I realized it was our 9 month anniversary." His eyes widened at the thought. He must've forgotten. "You remember Michael, the one you met at the party that one time." He nodded, his eyes changing. "We had been dating for 9 months, and he also forgot. The very next day, he beat me, had almost killed me. I was scared, even though I knew you weren't like him. He had warning signs that I chose to ignore, whereas you had none. Even though I knew that, I still left, afraid the past would repeat itself."

After a couple moments of silence, he broke it by saying 7 words that made me smile.

"I wrote you a few songs." He smiled, pulling me down to sit on the chair. He started singing a song, that I later learned was called Half A Heart, and then singing another, one called Let Her Go.

Those words broke my heart.

* 3 hours later *

Harry had finally convinced me to go on a date with him. We were simply going out to dinner, but I still begged him to take me home so I could get ready. I looked like absolute poop today. Once we arrived, I ran out of the car, knowing I only had about an hour. I ran inside, not even bothering to take off my shoes! I took a 3 minute shower, then quickly hopped out.

/after getting ready/

I noticed I still had about 20 minutes before Harry came, so I took out my journal and a pen. I started doing what I love, and hadn't done in a while. Poetry.

It was one of the many things Harry and I had in common. We both loved poetry so much, and we had gotten each other a journal to write in. I wrote a new poem, my feelings for Harry pouring out.

You dance like an angel in the night,

When I close my eyes you're dancing around me.

Steady keeping my hands from shaking,

I'm not scared anymore my love is yours for the taking.

But tell me, will you make me your queen?

Can I be the queen of everything?

The beauty that turned your world upside down,

And can I be your angel, the one who saved you?

I'll be your queen, so don't give up on me.

You ask who I am,

But all I am is all I could not mention to your pretty face.

I'm aching for the comfort; I said I don't want to be alone,

So tell me lover, Can I be the queen who wears the throne?

You say you spend the night dreaming of my angel face,

While I'm wide awake counting the stars.

I don't want to believe this is really it,

I want to be someone no one will forget.

So tell me, will you make me your queen,

Can I be the queen of everything?

The beauty that turned your world upside down,

And can I be your angel, the one who saved you,

I'll be your queen, so don't give up on me.

When my lips turn pale and cold,

When the sun just won't give in,

Will you still love me when it's all over?

Will our love go on forever, like the endless shore,

Your love is all I live for.

Your love is all I live for.

I'll be your queen, so don't give up on me.
