•Dan's POV•
Today was like any other day, or so it seemed. Get up, go to school, come home and pass out. But one thing happened that made this day different than the other grey, meaningless days. I went on the internet, and discovered this website named "YouTube".
Apparently you can post videos of yourself talking to strangers and people will watch it. Although it seemed strange, I was relieved I could be on another site other than MySpace.
I started out watching videos about dogs failing to do things dogs were supposed to do. Like catching a tennis ball, or jumping on a couch. Of course all of the dogs in the videos failed miserably and horribly. If they didn't, what would be the purpose of uploading the video?
Anyways, the dog's mishaps became boring and I moved on to watching other videos. I watched videos of people ranting, singing, trying to do comedy skits, and just being absolutely creepy like staring in to the camera and the thing that made it creepy was it felt like their stare was penetrating my soul.
But I stumbled upon a particular channel called "AmazingPhil". I clicked on one of his videos and had seen what this so called "amazing" Phil had looked like. I was greeted upon a man with jet black hair with a long fringe and a thick Northern accent. He had striking blue eyes and pale skin. He was taking about quite a few things and before I knew it, the video ended. I don't know exactly why, but I was suddenly very intrigued by him.
I went to his bio and had seen his username for his twitter account. I didn't use Twitter that much, but I decided if I wanted to talk to him, I would have to try and contact him in some way. I didn't find his account right away, but when I was scrolling through the many accounts and profile pictures I instantly spotted the blue eyes. I clicked his profile eagerly and started reading some of his tweets. My favourite band of ALL TIME would have to be Muse and so I was quite thrilled to see that Phil also loved the band. Even though I hate talking to or interacting with people, I knew if I actually wanted a friend I would have to start somewhere. So I replied to his tweet. I didn't know what to write at first, but I guess I tweeted what I thought sounded best.
After reading through some more of his tweets I watched more of his videos and for some reason hearing his voice made me feel safe. I liked him a lot, even though I've never once spoken to or met him. I watched one more video before I felt myself slowly drifting away with the view of Phil's ocean blue eyes getting more and more blurrier until there was nothing but darkness.
