The bell rang signaling the ending of another day at the glorious Hollywood Public High School. Not Hollywood High.... Those are very different schools. Sighing I unlocked my car, throwing my binder in the back. Turning the key a Katy Perry song came on. I turned it up as I started to pull out of the lot. Driving I noticed a car backing up. It didn't notice me.

"Shit!!!!!" I pressed my hand hard on the horn. Parker Davis, the school playboy, rolled down his window and started screaming who knows what at me.  To piss him off I rolled down my window but instead of responding I blasted my music smiling. Being the classy guy Parker is he flipped me off. I rolled my eyes and drove off. I hated guys with egos bigger then Canada. Parker Davis is one of those guys.

Before I knew it, I was pulling into my driveway. Turning off my car I sighed. No school tomorrow. Tomorrow is only Wednesday but they have to put the education of our future leaders on hold so they can film a movie. Dumb I know. It's so stupid but that's what I get for living in Hollywood.

"I'm home!!" I screamed as I walked in my house. "Oh yeah.... It's just me." Ever since The Accident both my parents are rarely home. They leave before I do and get home hours after I have fallen asleep. This is my life. Stay tuned.

I decide to go in my room. As I'm walking up the stairs I stop to look at the picture of my brother. I looked into his smiling eyes. He was the kind of boy who always smiled. Whoever met him, instantly fell in love with him. Stupid accident. One more thing I forgot to mention about that terrible day. It was my fault.

I caught the tear that must have fell as I remembered the day that changed the way the Sander family lived.

Sighing, I continued walking into my room. I left the door open as I passed through the doorframe. I would've closed it but no one is home so what's the point? I put my headphones on and listened to music.

---------------------------------------

The door slammed shut. "SARAH!!!" I jumped my mom was home??? At broad daylight?

"SARAH GET DOWN HERE!?!?" Oh no.... My DAD was home? Crap.... What did I do?  I hesitantly took off my headphones and stood up. With shaking hands, I walked downstairs.

"Hi mom. Hi dad. You guys are home early."

"Yes, we are." My dad said giving me the you're-in-trouble-look.

All three of us stood there in the awkward silence. If you reached out, you could actually feel the awkward....

"Sarah, do you have something you would like to tell us?" Questioned my dad breaking the silence.

"Umm.... Should I?"

"Do not use sarcasm with us, young lady!" Accused my dad.

"I'm not!! Will you just tell me what I did wrong??"

"It's more of what you didn't do. Or didn't tell us." I just stared at my dad waiting for a further explanation. "Ugh, why didn't you tell us you quit your job at the local Dairy Queen?"

"Seriously?" My parents both gave me the death glare. " I DID tell you guys I was quitting!! Dad just grunted and told me to go away and mom acted like I didn't say anything! Not like that's completely abnormal." I said the last part quieter.

"Young lady!! Apologize to your mother this minute!" Yelled my dad. I was starting to get really pissed off with my parents.

"I don't hear mom complaining! In fact I don't think I've heard her talk in the last TWO YEARS!!" As soon I said it, I wished I could've taken it back. But then again maybe it needed to be said.

The room was quiet for what felt like ever. No one was brave enough to speak first. Finally, after what felt like hours I grunted, "I'm going for a walk. I need to clear my head." I grabbed my sunglasses on the way out.

Before I walked off the porch I heard my dad mumble something and my mom reply, "It's okay, honey. It was rough on all of us. Especially Sarah. She was in the car with Kyle." I choked back tears at the sound of my brothers name. I also couldn't believe what my mother said about me. The women who had been completely ignoring me the last two years, stood up for me! I really need to clear my head. In my yoga pants and running shoes, I took off running.

The tears stung as they streamed down my face. Why did this happen to me!! I guess it wouldn't be as hard if it wasn't for my parents denial. Why wouldn't they just help and support me through this?? I can't be strong anymore. I can only be so strong for so long.

Thump

The next thing I knew I was on the hood of a shiny red mustang, then on the black cement.

Owwww. What the heck just happened?? I let out a groan as I rolled onto my back. I heard a car door shut and some words that I will not repeat.

"Oh shit.... Oh shiiiittt!!! Where's my phone?" The voice bent down next to me. "Please don't be dead. I'm calling the ambulance. Please oh PLEASE do not be dead." There was silence which I'm guessing was the voice calling 911. "Shit, I'm on effen hold. Please be okay. Please don't be dead!!"

"I'm not dead." I groaned trying to open my eyes. My head hurt so bad I couldn't even open my eyes.

"Thank heavens!! For a second I thought I killed you..... Oh yes there has been an accident. A girl was hit. She has blonde hair and looks to be around the age of 20."

"19" I whispered.

"She just told me she was 19 so she seems like she isn't unconscious."

"Obviously.."

The voice didn't respond to my comment. "Okay, yes. Yes. Alright. Thank you." I'm guessing the voice hung up the phone. "An ambulance is on it's way". After the awkward silence I tried to open my eyes again. I could open them just enough to see that the voice was coming from a man with brown hair and creamy brown eyes. The sun was shinning through the trees so I couldn't see who it was. I quickly closed my eyes once we made eye contact.

That was embarrassing. This is stupid. Why am I still laying here?

I tried to sit up but the pain was just too much. I groaned in pain grabbing at my head. I could feel the biggest migraine ever coming on. I've never felt like this since The Accident.

"Woah.... Woah there. Why don't you just lay back down? The ambulance will be here any minute." Right as he said that I could hear the ambulance siren coming this way. I also heard him give a sigh of relief. I guess sitting next to a girl who is lying on the floor cause you just hit her isn't that much fun.

What happened next was kind of a blur. People were running around me. Trying to help me onto a gurney and get to the hospital. I kept going in and out of conscienceness. My head was spinning and it looked like I was looking through a.....a ummmm a tube that messes with your vision. A ummm what's it called? A directioneffectionor? See I'm soo mess up right now I make up wifles. Words. Oh my....

Next thing I knew I was in the back of an ambulance with the guy who hit me. He keeps apologizing but my head was hurting too bad to respond. The last thing I remember thinking before falling into a sleepless slumber was "If you think about it, he kind of  looks like.... Nahhh it couldn't be Dave Franco."

Then, I blacked out.
