Chapter 3> Time to go...

<Chapter 3>

“Annabella” Aunt Sophie whispered

“What’s going on?” I asked again

“There’s been some threats from hunters, and we have decide that for your safety we are going to have to take action” Uncle Tommy said in a business like tone

“What kind of action?”

“I know this will be hard for you to swallow, but this needs to be done. I and the were council have decided to move you away from the palace and into a normal house. Your scent will be hidden and you like act like a normal wolf this would mean you will have to attend school and get a job.”

Hearing Uncle Tommy says this broke my heart, how can I leave home? After taking a few deep breaths to keep calm and looking at it from the were councils point of view I knew I would have to go through with it.

“How long till I have to leave?”  I whispered

“You have until tomorrow morning. I was going to inform you about this at lunch, however now that you know we can go other a few things now”

Uncle tommy moved to take a seat behind his desk and beckoned me to sit down in front of him. I heard Aunt Sophie excusing herself, suddenly remembering that she was in the room.

Clearing his throat after the door closed, uncle tommy starts explain what was going to happen to me.

 “What has been decided is that you will be living with two of the strongest palace guards, Alice and Andrew who are mates, you will be posing as their daughter and will be attending woodland high school. Seeing as the last time the pack saw you was when you were 6 years old and you had not transformed completely they would not be able to recognise you so there will be so need for a disguise”

The day of my 16thbirthday like any other wolf I experienced my first shift however once I shifted back I looked like a different person. My shoulder length honey gold hair became blood red with a tint of gold and was now just hanging above my waist, my light brown chocolate eye were now aqua blue, my freckles and pimples had disappeared leaving my face smooth and fair and my body lost all the extra fat (which was a lot) and developed a curvy figure. The only thing that stayed the same was the birthmark I had which was shaped as a tiny wolf on my right ankle.

“We had Alice and Andrew ask the Alphas permission to settle down in his territory without join his pack however you will have to attend pack meetings, but you will not have to move into the pack house. Bella you need to know how serious this is, we cannot have the past repeat itself.”

“I understand but how am I supposed to shift? I hope you are not asking me to trap my wolf; I will not be able to.”

My wolf is a pure white which is like no other wolf which symbolises my rank as the highest, when I find my mate; his wolf will too change into a pure sliver after mating, if I was to be spotted by any other wolf they would know I was the princess.

“Andrew had informed the Alpha that you were having problem in shifting therefore had moved into a new area hoping it would help bring out your wolf. When you do shift make sure either Andrew or Alice is with you so you won’t be spotted by other pack members.”

After a few minutes of silence I head Uncle Tom sigh and pull me into a hug.

“I know this is hard Bella but I can’t break my promise to your father I need to make sure you’re safe, so please try and be careful.”

“I miss them uncle tom” I whispered and for the first time in 10 years I cried my heart out.

The next morning was hectic; I was woken at four in the morning and told to be ready in half an hour. I quickly showered, dried and creamed my entire body as I walked into my room to get dressed I was surprised to see Aunt Sophie sitting on my bed.

“I’m sorry you have to do this Bella, I know you must feel scared so I bought you something that I thought might help you with your nerves” she said as she removed a white squared box from behind her back and gave it to me. The second I saw it I knew straight away what was inside that box.

I open the box and removed the beautiful pendent inside.

“It was the only thing I was able to take before we left the old pack house all the other things she left behind didn’t have the value this pendent did. I remember being to jealous the day dad gave it to her for her 16thit seems like just yesterday me and her were talking about what we wanted in the future and the goal we were looking forward to accomplish.” Aunt Sophie said as she let out a sad chuckle as tears streamed down her face

I pulled her close into a hug ‘thank you’ i whispered right before uncle T knocked on the door
